Hello, I am new on the forum. I have had several "mystery" ailment that drove me to research alternative care. I have been on MMS for about 3 weeks. I have been following the protocol 1000 with some diligence and have noticed a few improvements with pain in my large intestine. My main question in this thread is about my lungs. I am 40 and have smoked more on than off for over half my life.... Once I started taking MMS, I hear little popping sounds from deep in my lungs when I am laying down at night. I did inhale too much in my first week and suffered mild pressure and shortness of breath but this is long gone. However, this popping/wheezing sound... is it part of the lungs detoxing? What happenes to the toxins inside the lungs? I am not spitting anything up so I am curious if lung crud gets flushed another way. Please and Thankyou... Ocean

I am a smoker and I was trying to quit once and those problems you have with your lungs I also had. After about 2 weeks of no smoking I ended up going to the emergency. I had such bad allergies that my lungs ended up with flluid in them. The doctor at emergency told me that I would have to be on puffers for the rest of my life. I did a research on it and found out that other people that had no asthma problems developed problems with that after quitting smoking. Do a research on it on the web putting "quit smoking + asthma getting worse" and you will find others with the same problem. I decided to smoke again and by the third cigarette I noticed an improvement in my lungs. The only thing I could think of was that with the smoke tar covering the lungs allergies couldnt attack your lungs. Now that I am smoking I dont have any problems with asthma with the help of mms or aerobic oxygen which is a weaker form of mms. I hesitate tell say anything like this because people would just say "ya ya" I know. But for me puffers made me sick, especially the steriod ones, so I thought smoking is alot better than doing the puffers and being sick. But I am surprised you are not bringing up any flem.

Just my opionion

OK, I'm talking about something I KNOW nothing about - I don't smoke, never have, so have no experience. I will say that I have HEARD that the problem with smoking is all the additives that are in the cigarettes, that if one could get their hands on tobacco that has not been "added to" that it's not harmful. Again, just throwing this out there.

Pam, I grew up on a tobacco farm in Kentucky. Dad was talking to some fishermen who worked in the tobacco fields during the day. They would spray Royal Mh-30 on the tobacco to keep the flowers from going to seed so the plant would put it's energy into producing nice big leaves. This cut down on the labor needed to go through the fields and top (break off the flowers) which was the way it was done years ago. They rinsed the empty jug of Royal Mh-30 (containing only a small amount of residue) in the nearby stream. They were shocked at all the dead fish which appeared downstream. It is important to be aware of these agricultural practices and such observations. Unadulterated tobacco can be used among other things to worm cattle and other livestock.

Thanks! Sounds like it's organic or grow your own <G>. I'm going to see if I can merge this topic with the other one, so that it's easier for others to follow.

Later: Looks like we can't merge threads with this software. Tish, I'm going to move our individual threads to the other topic.

Yes I believe the additives is what makes tobacco harmful.

To answer your question about the crud: Indeed you will have to cough it up, but it may be too thick right now. Deep Breathing in water vapour when you're having a hot shower, or very carefully from a tea kettle will help to dilute the crud.
