Hi

I have several health issues right now and the mms is working better than anything I have tried so far.

I know sodium chlorite is a water treatment/sanitizer, would using it in a hot tub be good for you? I would think it would keep the water clean and sanitized and maybe get some benefits like taking a mms bath? I would think that un-activated mms (just sodium chlorite) would be better...or would mms 2 work better?

Hope someone with a chemistry background can help.

Hi xquisitor,

Yes - MMS bath protocol is a brilliant way to absorb it into the body, it's in amongst the Healing Methodologies in the menu at the left of this page.

Use 40 drops activated and add it to your bath water, keep the water hot to open the pores of your skin and swish the water all over your body to ensure all the MMS contacts your skin. Soak for at least 20 minutes.

hello,
Regarding the smell of the activated mms: for the sinus protocol it is mentioned that we should not inhale the mms deeply as it can deplete the lungs from oxygen and cause damage. Is it safe to smell it from the hot/warm tub water for the 20 minutes stated? will that not be inhaled while we are laying in the tub?

thank you.

No problem Sally, 40 drops in that much water does not give off a noticeable smell and what gasses off is so diluted you'd never know it's there. Remember it's already activated before you put it in the bath.

What I meant was could sodium chlorite or mms2 be used in my 350 gallon hot tub instead of di-chlor or the other sanitizers made for hot tubs they I really don't want to be soaking in right now. I would think it would work fine as sodium chlorite is a water sanitizer, was just wondering how much would be needed to keep the water sanitized?

Sally - I mistook your 'hot tub' for bath, sorry. Good question, I expect it would work quite well but couldn't advise on how to use it, hopefully someone smarter than me will pick this one up & advise. MMS2 is used in swimming pools & hot tubs anyway so no problem with that one.

xquisitor - you can use MMS2 for your hot tub as it is a standard sanitizer for swimming pools. Sodium Chlorite will also be a useful addition as it will activate slowly based on the pH content in the water.

I like putting 25 activated drops MMS1 in my bath and have found it therapeutic as well as useful in dealing with skin conditions.

Thanks sky...I know both are used as water sanitizers, does anyone know which would be safer for the tub and the piping and pump membranes and jets? And which would last longer to keep the water sanitized best?
