I am a bit confused on the PPM thing. To my memory Andreas does not mention the strength
of his product. Pavel seems to want to gain a 50ppm strength in his bottles and Jim says he wants 3000PPM. Sadly Pavel had no English translation to his 2 good pages so I don't know why he's seeking the 50ppm. Since Jim learned this method from Andreas I am taking his estimation with a grain of salt. IS there some more definite information somewhere as to what minimum part CDS is effective for any "sterilizing treatment"?

Hi, Medusa

I'll explain the technical definition, on the other questions I leave to members of this forum.

Parts per million (ppm)
This is a way of expressing very dilute concentrations of substances. Just as per cent means out of a hundred, so parts per million or ppm means out of a million. Usually describes the concentration of something in water or soil. One ppm is equivalent to 1 milligram of something per liter of water (mg/l) or 1 milligram of something per kilogram soil (mg/kg).

Hi,
The Pope Cyrille

Concentration in grams per liter (C or g / L).

In chemistry, concentration is the ratio of the quantity or mass of a substance and the volume of the solution in which the compound is dissolved. The way in which a substance is distributed in another unit of reference. This reference unit may be the volume or mass of solution or even solvent.

So, when doing Pavel's method, how do we know how many PPM the CDS is?

I ask because with MMS, the concentration and dosing are VERY important due to the herx reactions and the increasing in dosing, etc, but I am finding that with CDS, I am just adding a splash here, as splash there to my homemade lemonade and all's well (I don't know how much to take) - HOWEVER, people (my father, my cousin, etc) who are now open to MMS/ CDS now want to know how much to take and I am at a standstill with the answer (especially since the CDS method is so new).

All I have been saying is "I dunno, I just pour a dash or two"

I know CDS is relatively new, but we need some stickies now, regarding new, recommended protocols, including CDS and it's involvement with MMS2 and DMSO.

It's hard to recommend something when the 'rules' have all changed and I am clueless. Am I missing a useful sticky or website page?

As I recall, in Andreas' original video, he stated that 1mL = 3 drops of MMS. A number of people here have worked with testing strips and meters and so on, (which seems a more accurate measurement than the blue gatorade - although I can understand the gatorade technique when you realize that JH and crew are frequently working in the back country where it's easier to get gatorade than testing strips) - and have found that if you take 1mL of CDS and put it in 2 oz of water, then using the 0-500ppm Lamotte testing strips - that if your test is showing (at that point) a 50ppm, you have a 3000ppm/L batch. For that batch, your dosing will be 1mL CDS equivalent to 3 drops of MMS1, activated.

If you have a 100ppm test result, you have somewhere in the vicinity of a 6000ppm/L and your dose would be .5mL = 3 drops of mms1, activated.

If your test tops out at the black - you will have to start diluting to determine what your actual ppms are.

When I made CDS, I like to do it JH's way, in that there is one bottle that is the receiver bottle, and it is open. I watch, and when the color gets Yellow, I will use a syringe barrel and pull out 1mL and test it in 2oz of water. If it measures what I am looking for on the testing strip then I will move the tubing to another receiver bottle. The other option would be to do more than one bottle at a time (like Pavel and Charlotte do), then at the end add them all together and then test to get the numbers for the whole batch.

The dosing for the protocols remains the same - it's done in 3 drop equivalents (MMS is 3 drops, activated, for your protocol 1000 dose..... CDS is the equivalent to 3 drops of activated MMS for the protocol 1000 dose)

Hope this helps.

This does help.

I was not aware of the strips.

I, like you, made CDS like JH, but I do like the concept of the multi-bottle 'harvesting' method.

I keep the acidic leftovers (original MMS solution) in a jar in my fridge and add some to a water bottle and clean my bathrooms with it. Also, I add some to another water bottle filled with water and White Vinegar, which I keep in the fridge and use to wash my kitchen counters with daily (take that "Clorox Bleach"!). I just don't like the idea of discarding the MMS after the CDS is made.

One word of caution though: If anyone makes the 'big batch', do this outside so that when you remove the tubing, etc, a gigantic yellow cloud would not chase you and your family out of the house for the night!

Thank you for your response!

Hi Everybody. I am new in this forum but I make MMS since 3 years ago (sorry for my english). In Argentina is impossible to get the testing strips. The Gatorade method is a little confused for me, because I do not know what colour I will expect after 6 seconds (light blue, light green, very light green). Is there a more accurate way to determine the PPM with Gatorade?. Is there a more accurate way to determine the PPM with anything instead testing strips?.

The test strips are priced at $ 10, but the shipping costs to my country are $ 100 (!!!!????). I bought things in the U.S., and never shipping costs were so high.

Thank you and best wishes,
Pablo
