Jim Humble's "MMS Health Recovery Guidebook" has a chapter on (non-human) Animals.
Internal/oral dosing is important because it detoxes the body and allows the body
to heal itself in most cases. (that's how ClO2 works)
Maybe you didn't use the SEARCH function correctly. I got a lot of hits on cataracts:

Note that I personally would not use Citric acid as an activator.
Taste-wise it is apparently not good, and for eyes it seems like maybe not a great idea. (?)
The newer suggestion is to use very dilute HCl. (4%/5% Hydrochloric Acid)
Or, for eyes, since there is always some leftover HCl in activated MMS,
I would probably use CDS, which is 100% activated ClO2 and AFAIK does not
contain "trace" amounts of Sodium Chlorite or HCl.
I've posted a lot about my cat here. You should be able to find those posts and comments.
