I am Frankie Eikum and am new to the forum.  Thanks for adding me.  I am just getting my feet wet with MMS, I have read about it.  1/2 a week ago, I started brushing my teeth with MMS1.  Can I brush immediately after eating as I grew up doing, or do I need to be compliant with time separation between food and brushing?  Thanks

Charlotte, who runs this forum has pointed out that MMS is acidic, which can damage your teeth, and therefore you should not brush with it.

What I do, which works incredibly well is to make CDS, which is pH neutral.  I mix 5 ml of CDS with filtered water in a 8 oz. brown glass bottle. I fill up the bottle almost all the way with water, then add 5 ml of CDS, then top off with more water. I cap it up and give it a little shake to disperse the CDS. I then store in a cupboard away from sunlight.

I then swish with about 1/2 oz. of this for about 30 sec. to a minute before I brush my teeth, and also the very last thing before I go to bed. My gums have never been better, and I have tried many, many things over a period of 30 years to help them.

Here is a video on how to make CDS:

In addition, I also use an oral irrigator after my evening teeth brushing. I add 1 capful (from a 1 quart bottle) of H2O2 to the water tank, which keeps mold from building up inside the machine. Years ago before I did this I took apart my irrigator after using it for a long time, and it was covered with black mold inside the pump. So, it's important to add something, which could be CDS, H2O2, or Hypochlorous Acid.

I agree with John that activated MMS is too acidic.
CDS is much safer. When I use it as a mouthwash, I dilute CDS TO about 200ppm and swish for 10 seconds and spit out. I repeat 2 or 3 times.

I used 9.5 pH water after I activated the drops, which seems to make a 6.25 pH solution.  Is that too acidic?  When you swish it in your mouth, do you wait 1 to 1 1/2 hr after eating?

I plan to try your method, thanks

You can brush your teeth with MMS1, you must just add a pinch of baking soda to up the pH. Good to go then.

Extradog,i didn't realize the PH was that high. I would say it's safe for teeth/gums.I use the mouthwash at random times a few times a month so I dont worry about food.

Charlotte has also more recently said that adding a pinch of baking soda will increase the pH enough to where you can brush your teeth.

MMS is only about 10% activated when you do the initial activation, and gets further activated with stomach acid. If you are brushing your teeth with it, and adding it to alkaline water, then there would be little to no further activation, which means you are brushing with a tiny bit of CLO2 and mostly free sodium chlorite. I don't know if this is good or not, but I do know swishing with CDS is outstanding.

You don't need to do any food avoidance or waiting if swishing.

Testing has been done and adding baking soda about halves the ppm, still enough to get the job done.
But personally I would test with testing strips just to make sure. Get your own recipe just right.
