I have a sore tooth that has had a crown on it since the early 90's. It's been sore on and off ever since the crown was first put in. I saw this thread and went out and got a water pic and put 10 activated drops into the water pic well, and then filled the rest with distilled water. I used it once on that tooth. It felt like I was hitting a nerve directly with the water pic at times, so I tried to go very gently and carefully. Afterwards, I could not brush the gum above that tooth for 3 days -- the nerve was so raw and painful it felt like it was right on the surface and exposed. I haven't done the water pic since then (that was about a week ago) but my question is whether that's normal for using MMS on a gum infection or abcess? Anyone have this happen to them? The tooth doesn't feel better or worse -- it's finally just calmed back down to where it was before doing the water pic.
