My Question is about using a foot bath, the container I am thinking of using is plastic. NYLEX HW0036738L HANDI PAN. made in Australia. Also can I put some MMS2 in with the MMS for the foot bath. How many drops of MMS and how much MMS2 should I use? Moyra T

Hi, Moyra. Good choice. Always plastic, never metal. I would use the mms1. If you want to add anything, add DMSO if available. It helps carry the Chlorine Dioxide through the skin. A 10 drop mix would be a good start. Soak for 1/2 hour or more for max absorption.

Here is a report I wrote up a while back about foot soaks:

FOOT SOAKS
Foot soaks and bath tub soaks are one option for getting mms into our bodies. Here is Jim's bath protocol jimhumble.biz/biz-tubbath.htm . I have been using 1 tsp. of mms (about 60 drops depending on the size of the drops) and 1 tsp. of 50% citric acid to activate for 30 seconds OR 5 tsp. of vinegar to activate for 3 minutes. I do 3 foot soaks a day, since I can combine it with enema time and kill two birds with one stone. So if you do an mms enema, you can also do a foot soak at the same time. My soaks average 45 mins. each, which totals about 2+ hrs soak time each day. I use an old plastic drawer from a refrigerator that is just right for my feet and I put 1.4 gals. of water into it.

At first I was using only citric acid to activate for all 3 soaks each day, but when I did that after a week or so my feet started to get a red rash around the water line on the ankles and on the top of the feet. Then I switched to using only white vinegar to activate and the rash went away, so that means it was the citric acid that was causing the rash for sure. Now I do one of the soaks each day with the citric acid and the other 2 with the vinegar and there is no rash problem. My feet are very healthy now doing this and I have to think a lot of chlorine dioxide is getting absorbed into my system.

This experience proves to me I can soak my feet in a very concentrated mms solution for long periods each day and for many days and not have any adverse effects. And I am pretty sensitive, I have a severe case of multiple chemical sensitivity. Sometimes I had scratches or small cuts on my ankles that were not bothered by this, and probably healed quicker. The only thing that bothered me was the citric acid if I used it more than one soak a day.


I was doing 1 tsp MMS doses in foot soaks 3 times a day and not having problems except for the citric acid.

You could also add MMS2 to the soak. I have put 2 tablespoons into a bathtub of water to soak in, I'm guessing you could put .5-1 teaspoon of MMS2 in a foot soak. If you are really itchy afterward, then you used too much.

Now I need to ask about the 10 drop mix you mention, how many drops of MMS (activated) and how many drops of DMSO do I put together. thank you again for your answer. Moyra T

It would be 10 drops of MMS, 10 drops of 50% citric acid activator, allow to sit for 20-30 seconds and put in the footbath.

 An MMS Footbath
If you have a toenail fungus or any sort of foot wound or infection, fill a footbath with hot water and add 10 to 20 drops of activated MMS. Soak your feet for 5 to 10 minutes.
Repeat this daily until the condition is healed. It could take one week, or up to 6 weeks, depending on what the problem is. Some people have reported good pain relief for gout using this procedure.
Also, this is a good way to just get more MMS into the body for supplementing the Protocols 1000, 2000, and 3000.

Hi Michael

I used 1 teaspoon of activated MMS with one capsule of MMS2 and 2 drops of DMSO, soaked feet for 30 mins. To day I noticed that my feet have a very slight yellow / orange colour. (might be a good way to get an all over tan in the bath?)

I will do another foot soak tonight 1/2 strength this time.

Any idea how much more effective a foot soak is with DSMO and without DSMO added to the water?

I don't actually have any DSMO on me, but trying my 2nd ever foot soak using MMS.

First time was ten drops of MMS- today thought I'd try 20 drops - quite a big color difference in the water - a lot more yellow color.

Without DSMO will much MMS get into the bloodstream this way?

Archer, I don't know that the exact amount has ever been determined. Jim Humble writes this about the MMS bath: (I know, not a footbath, but I would think it would apply)

 An MMS Bath
The skin is the body’s biggest organ and can absorb MMS easily.
Run a hot bath and add anywhere from 5 to 20 drops of activated
MMS. If the water is not filtered, run it hot and let the vapor rise for
a few minutes. Stay in the bath for about 10 minutes. Depending on
your tolerance for MMS dosages, you could go up to about 40 drops.

Don’t be concerned about the tub of water diluting the MMS a lot.
Whatever number of drops you put in the water will come in contact
with your skin regardless of how full the tub is or how large it is.

3.1.3. Dermal Absorption
Scatina et al. (1984) reported on the dermal absorption of Alcide, an antimicrobial compound consisting of solutions of sodium chlorite and lactic acid, which when mixed immediately before use result in the formation of chlorine dioxide. 0.6 g 36Cl-labeled sodium chlorite as part of the Alcide was used to monitor absorption following application to the shaved backs of 10 female Sprague-Dawley rats. Maximum absorption of 36Cl into plasma was observed after 72 hours, where a plasma concentration of 69.4 μg% 36Cl was reached. The absorption half-life was calculated to be 22.1 hours, which corresponds to a rate constant of 0.0314 hr-1.
