I currently work for an employer who is mandating that all employees regardless of patient contact must have the flu vaccine. I understand from a like minded friend with who I share beliefs that these vaccines are not only dangerous but a violation of my personal rights, that there are letters provided by Archbishop Jim Humble that I can provide my employer to be exempted from this. I would like to find out how to do that.

Thanks, Debbie

I heard you could get out of having to do these things if it's for religious reasons. Good luck.

By joining the Genesis II Church of Health and Healing you will receive a membership card. On the back of it, in part, it states:
"All members are exempt from any means not chosen, including but not limited to;vaccinations, medications, X-rays, scans, ..."

My wife is a RN here in British Columbia and the Health Authority is working in the same direction as yours - at this point they have not mandated the vaccines, just wearing masks if not vaccinated during the flu season. So we have not yet tested the Religious Exemption by using the card - so we don't know if it would be honoured - without a fight . The Church does threaten prosecution of all persons who violate our religious rights.

good luck
Martin

Thank you for responding. I understood from my friends that there is an actual letter that is provided, but, maybe she misunderstood. When I talk to "the powers that be" they state that I need a signed letter from my religious leader. But, when I actually look at the formal rules, it states documentation from a religious leader which to me implies not necessarily one specific to me. So that is to me a good thing as if they ask I will just tell them what their rules state and here are several sources both Christian and Buddhist reasons along with the Genesis II church. I will let you know how it turns out. I am sure it is a case by case basis both for the person and the institution worked for, but, maybe some of my work will be of benefit.
