Hi.
Can anyone please point me in the direction of any articles or papers on the use of ClO2 with regards to honey bee and hive health?
I'm sure I've seen something in the past but am not having any luck finding anything today.
Thanks.

Thank you ClO2. That seems to be a patent for a machine to distribute ClO2 in a hive. I was hoping for a simple way to administer CDS or gas. I'll keep searching and update this thread if I find anything.

Some people just use an aqueous spray. 100 ppm-200 ppm which is sanitizer strength. .01%-.02%
Another method is to place a UV light and just let a 5% NaClO2 solution gas off over time.
Many of the papers are in another language. USA not so much.

Here's a decent paper. patentimages.storage.googleapis.com/b4/81/f9/d042a6606cd7f4/US6096350.pdf   They use gel or spray.

Some people use spray at 100 to 200 ppm in hives  (.02%v - .03%)
You can also use gel or use UVlight with NaClO2 at 5% for slow release of gas.
