How to do an MMS1 enema with septic system? was created by papertigers7
The question is, if you have a septic system, Jim Humble says NOT to flush MMS, MMS1, MMS2 or CDS into it as it can harm septic system. So could it also cause problems with plumbing depending on types of pipes used or not? Any suggestions on how to get around this?
How to do an enema if have septic and non-approved pipes for safety of MMS1? Or just focus on appling topically with DMSO?
As baths wouldn't be a good idea either (due to pipes), though could do foot baths but where would one dump water (would you dump it in the driveway)?
Has anyone more info on changing the chemical composition before trying to put in the septic system? One previous comment was to use baking soda to neutralize? But more research needed to be done. We were just waiting until another got some HCL 5% solution to try the enema protocol until saw the part of the septic system!

Sorry about the bad sentence structure. We are waiting for a shipment of HCL to come. It will still be useful for other applications, i.e. oral without side effects that citric acid seemed to contribute.

The problem Jim is talking about is chlorine dioxide (CLO2) killing off septic tank bacteria, not damage to pipes. By the time the liquid from an enema reaches the septic tank, CLO2 will be so diluted with water that nothing bad will happen. You could wait to flush the toilet until CLO2 gas is gone. And you could add a tablespoon of baking soda to the toilet bowl water. If MMS1 is so strong, what could it do to your body!
There is such a small amount of sodium chlorite left after doing a MMS1 enema, I would not be concerned.
A bathtub full of MMS1 might be a problem. In that case, let the bath water stay in the tub until CLO2 is gone. You can measure CLO2 concentration using CLO2 test strips. Add baking soda.

I have been doing MMS1 baths with DMSO and have a septic system for about a week now. I have been using 50 drops each sodium chlorite and HCl. Is there information on how long one would have to let the water sit before draining the tub or how much baking soda? Luckily I have a big amount of baking soda on hand.
