A friend here BADLY BURNED his arm with very hot cooking oil two days ago.

It is a skin burn with a red oval-shaped area with a central open sore, resembling a shallow crater - an inflamed area of skin. The blister has ruptured, leaving a raw, open sore. The surrounding skin is somewhat swollen, tender, and painful to the touch.

I have some old sodium chlorite 25% solution and old 4% HCL solution here. I seek input as to how to best treat the wound.

Hello I have seen a video about someone that had the same kind of injury.
CDS undilluted was sprayed on the wound and also the person used Aloe vera every 2 hours.
the skin was completely regenerated and there was no scarring in the end.
I also found thisThis protocol focuses on the treatment of burns using a solution of chlorine dioxide (CDS 3000 ppm) in saline (NaCl 0.9%). It has effective applications in common burns, such as those caused by fire, as well as electrical, chemical or radiation burns. It relieves the pain immediately.      This protocol is combined with Protocol C20.   For common burns: Procedure:Soak a napkin in CDS and apply to the burned area.Let the napkin apply to the burn until it dries. This approach has the advantage that it can be repeated several times and does not require subsequent washing of the burned area, as CDS does not cause a chemical burn due to its pH.  For severe burns: Procedure:Use a 0.3% (3000 ppm) CDS solution as a spray directly on the burn. It is recommended to combine it with CDI (Chlorine Dioxide Intravenous) in saline. This should be done under the supervision of an experienced physician. Spray the solution on the burn and, preferably, add CDI to the saline.  Application of CDS and CDI usually relieves pain immediately.Repeat the application by spraying as soon as the pain returns without the need to apply bandages. CDS helps eliminate infection caused by the burn and excess lactic acid in the wound. In addition, it does not require other antibiotics or cremes. You can combine this treatment with the application of natural aloe vera gel to help prevent scarring and promote faster recovery.

hope this helps

"...as CDS does not cause a chemical burn due to its pH."

That sounds like Andreas Kalcker talking. CDS is not pH neutral. The average pH of CDS that I have measured when testing CDS, is pH 4.5 which is very acidic.

yes this is what i found on his website. good to know that CDS is not PH neutral. so it should then be diluted before being sprayed on any wound or burn?

You can dilute CDS with high pH water which will raise the low pH of CDS to a higher value.

Many people spray full-strength CDS onto their skin with no problems.

Ingesting diluted CDS does not seem to be a problem. Most foods are acidic.

But, for IV use, low pH would be quite painful. pH 7.3 to 7.4 should work for injections of CDS.

I wouldn't dilute the CDS. It's far better to apply acidic liquid to your skin than anything alkaline. Ask anyone who works with portland cement, which I do. I have cleaned my hands with diluted muriatic acid to burn the portland off my skin for years. Applying CDS directly undiluted is not going to be a problem for 99% of us, IMHO
