Hi, what are these strips actually testing for is it the ph levels? or the amount of chlorine dioxide in the solution, can i use the spa/hot tub strips, because they are a lot cheaper thanks

LaMotte chlorine dioxide test strips #3002 measure chlorine dioxide (CLO2). They may also sell pH strips and those would not be the same as CLO2 test strips. If you cut each test strip in half lengthwise, you will  have twice as many strips.
