You may want to try incorporating DMSO or even plain old MSM.  Check out this piece from WebsterKehr- websterkehr.com/msm_cd/

My dog and I are on the 24 drop/day protocol, but I adjust his dose by weight to be the equivalent of what I take.  My body won't accept 3 drops at once, so I take 2 drops every 40 minutes instead of 3 drops every hour, and it seems fine, so far.

I sprinkle 1 Tbsp of MSM on Drake's food in the morning and evening, 2 hours before and after the dosing period.  I basically do the same but just knock back 1 Tbsp in water from a good whiskey swirler glass.  Very interesting info in the link above.

Drake and I are both showing significant improvements, and it keeps getting better and better.  We are on week 3 of the protocol now.

We are newbies on this, so please gather other opinions if you can find them.  Just my $0.02 for now.

The dog food may have anti-oxidants in it, which would negate the effect of the ClO2.  I feed Drake his ClO2 with a syringe, and he doesn't mind it too much.  I make an 8 drop solution and dilute it into 1/2 cup (120 ml) of distilled water.  Then I calculate the number of mls of that solution to give him.  At the moment, he is getting 8 ml of that solution followed by a syringe full of water to wash it down every 40 minutes until the 8 drop solution is consumed.  Kind of the same thing I am doing, but I make a 2 drop solution fresh each time for myself.

The bottom line for us at the moment is that starting 2-3 hours after breakfast, Drake gets 8 drops in 7 hours, and I get 24 drops in 7 hours.  We have a little inert snack like a buttered cracker or bite of granola at the 20 minute mark between doses and then eat dinner a couple of hours after our last dose for the day.

IMO, a full 3 drop dose is a lot for a dog that weighs much less than a human, especially when my body violently rejects that dose, so I correct everything back to the equivalent that I am taking by body weight.  Basically, I give Drake about 1/3 of what I am taking, since he weighs about 1/3 of what I do.

I recommend that you buy Jim's ebook, which has a nice chapter on treating animals.  Also, Forbidden Health by Andreas Kalcker is a must read and is available for download out there.

DMSO is covered in very good detail in Jim's and Andreas Kalcker's books.  It is Dimethyl Sulfoxide and available in many natural food/supplement stores.  I haven't used the DMSO yet, but we are significant users of MSM, which is also known as Organic Sulfur and is available from many sources and is quite inexpensive.
