Hello,
I am new to this forum, but am wondering if there is any evidence to suggest that the chlorine in ClO2 might inhibit, or be toxic to the thyroid gland.  The halides, of which chloride is a member, have a very strong electrical bond and compete with iodine for uptake by the thyroid gland.  Iodine is essential for the thyroid to function properly. Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks, Mike
