Look on eBay and refer to the chemical grades PDF file to know the quality you are looking at. If making CDS, you can use muriatic acid from your hardware store, diluted down to 4%.

Yes, muriatic acid is okay if making CDS, especially if you activate in a fridge to reduce any HCL gases that may get into CDS water at higher temperatures.
