 I am new to CDS and MMs and have question about hydrochloric acid : Are there different grades of Hydrochloric acid? ...I am not sure if  the Hydrochloric acid  (muriatic acid) from hardware store is  SAFE  to dilute for making CDS?   is there a Food grade or pharmaceutical grade that can be used to safely dilute to 4-5% to make CDS and  safe to ingest orally ?  thanks!

Muriatic acid should be fine to make CDS as only CLO2 gas should be in the CDS water. Make CDS without heating the reactor solution.
