Sodium chlorite on skin was created by Brian92
I'm very new to MMS, and I accidentally spilled a few drops of 22.4% sodium chlorite on my skin earlier, but quickly washed it off with soap and water. Am I safe? I'm a bit worried.

Should be fine. Sodium chlorite has a ph in the 2.5-3.9 range [acidic] depending on concentration, 22.4 is not too high] and coca cola is right around 2.5 as well. Rinse it, wash it, and carry on.
You'd be more likely to a get a mild burn from the 4% HCL I think, however even that if washed right off would be so mild you may not notice since it's in very low concentration also.
PS - not a chemist, but both of these solutions may be entirely too weak to burn you at all given any duration of exposure, I simply don't know. Use them mindfully and you won't have issues. I've used for the last year+ daily and others here have for decades, safely.

"Sodium chlorite has a ph in the 2.5-3.9 range [acidic] depending on concentration..."
If sodium chlorite was pH 2.5 to 3.9 and was mixed with 4% HCL, nothing would happen; no CLO2 would be released from MMS.
22.4% Sodium Chlorite (MMS) is alkaline at pH 9 on a test strip and 8.9 on a pH meter. Jim says 5 minutes on your skin is max. Try it longer. It burns!

I am sorry, please forgive me. I had looked up a sodium chlorite solution different from the one we use for protocols and water purification.

Thanks so much guys! Yeah I was just being paranoid. I'm excited to get started on the starting procedure, though also nervous...

I put it on my skin all the time, it reacts to a blemish but it's just water on good skin. HOWEVER, if you leave it on a while it will turn the area red, but that will go away soon.
