thanx for all the info acefree. i used to teach disabled people and done my back years ago lifting someone out of a wheelchair. over the years it got worse untill i could no longer stand in the classroom and move around. i was teaching mainstream as well and kids being kids started to take the mickey. i eventually had to give up work and within a year or so suffered 2 heart attacks and a mini stroke which has left me with very poor memory and very limited movement and unable to retain info.. i need everything explained in detail. i am sitting most of the time and i have to say that when on pc neck gets worse so i limit time on it. i have a dog so i take him out for walks but cant go far. my neck started about 6 years ago and the scan said it was mild cervical prob. the latest one shows significant problems and the rib cage has crumbled away. very painful looking in any direction and am doing nods up down left right hoping it helps. the flare up is getting better but the doc says i can expect more flareups because of the damage, i am on tramadol amitriptalin and just come off morphine, and as if that isnt enough i am also diabetic, but if i wake up alive its an effing good day.

Hey Jeff,
your condition is very severe. If I were you I would make a laying down computer setup. I just put a steel L frame into the wall above my bed and hanged my monitor from it with a vesa mount. For mouse and keyboard mounted wood onto the wall and taped them on that wood. This way you can study longer about your condition.

Be careful with the exercises when on pain medication you could be just doing more damage cause you can't feel it. I would do those head nods when you first wake up before you take meds. If it hurts don't do it.

Make sure your taking a good form of calcium with that d3 and k (never calcium carbonate) I take calcium ororate.

I'm guessing from your diabetes and osteoporosis you probably consumed a lot of soda and sugary food.

I think the best way forward for you would be:
Cut all sugars, cut all food made in a factory.
Try to eat all organic vegetables and meats.
You need to feed your body all the nutrients it needs to heal and rest a lot. Use all your daily power to get and prepare that good food, then rest and study.

The beauty of life is that we have a chance in every moment to change ourselves and future. I feel like god design reality this way, there is redemption for all of us.
