Hi worldsailor,
Mind and body are connected: could it be that there had been a traumatic experience? I found this for you:
"I can tell you that the phenomena is strongly connected with a traumatic experience which lead to the state when the affected person starts to blame him or herself for the tragedy or whatever is the reason for trauma.
The most helpful action to take would be to focus on the event (if it is known, we normally speak of the death of some loving person, severe injuries or something similar) and with a help of some keen regression therapist tried to deactivate the event in subconscious mind. The healing can be achieved if the person is willing to collaborate which is not always the case because very strong feeling of guilt does not allow her or him to do anything to get better."
My own son had a walking problem for 7 months (age 9) and was paralized, he got out of it. It was called 'conversion'. Like a penalty in the head.
Wish you good vibes and love,

World Sailor - I would look into the work of Terry Wahl, MD - who had MS. Note the operant word - had.

MMS has some success with MS, but I would be more likely to think it would be with co-infections, which might be making it worse.
