I have been using MMS1 with purified water (bottled Bonaqua) and just wondered if this is okay? Distilled water makes me feel acidic and it bad for pulling out minerals from the body which is the reason I feel acidic afterwards. I'm living in Hong Kong where the environment already is so toxic that it promotes an acidic body that becomes grossly deficient in nutrients, so the distilled water pushes me over the edge with mouth sores and stomach problems. I don't feel this way with the purified water but just wondered how effective the MMS would be with it.

On a somewhat similar note, I know I bought MMS from an unapproved source, although they are still listed as a source on a Jim Humble website. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience of comparing MMS1 from Mineral Solutions to other approved sources of MMS and can I trust their products? I'm not really looking for opinions here, I'm looking for actual comparisons that have been performed with real results. I know they haven't gotten an approval from the church, but that could be due to reasons other than effectiveness.

Please someone advise. Thank you.

Somewhere Jim shows us how to tell if MMS solution is strong enough. This is done by timing the reaction time MMS and Citric combine.
I'm not 100% sure but I think distilled water is recommended for the making of MMS itself. I don't think it's critical that you use distilled water to drink MMS with. I use purified and high PH water to wash down the MMS capsules I prepare.
I find using MMS in Gel Capsules eliminates taste and smell of MMS and with the addition of DMSO better penetrates the body tissues and cells when used either orally or topically.

It is my understanding that distilled water is used to make MMS in order to eliminate impurities like metals that would diminish the MMS potential.
I am reading using a google search www.google.ca/search?q=drink+distilled+water+danger&rlz=1C1CHHJ_enCA468CA468&aq=1&oq=drink+distilled&aqs=chrome.2.0j57j0l2j62.5371j0&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
that indicates drinking distilled water may pull minerals from your body. Also suggests that purified water has its metals removed as well so....

High pH water tends to be antioxidant - in terms of available electrons. May lessen the strength of MMS - Probably not an issue if you're doing a maintenance kind of thing - maybe more so if you're fighting cancer. Something to consider.

So, what was your solution to the water question in Hong Kong? I need to help someone in Hong Kong and I wish to give her proper directions. Also, how did you get MMS in Hong Kong? I need to send it to her, or tell her where to buy? Thanks.
