Hello. My dog has a skin infection- what would be good to clean her skin prior to applying DMSO? How would you recommend I apply the DMSO? With gloves on? It’s the 70% solution.

Do not apply DMSO with gloves, most of those materials will be broken down by the DMSO (unless special gloves, or ones tested for DMSO use over night) and potentially taken into the dogs blood stream making him sick. I recommend reading the book 'The DMSO Handbook for Doctors : Scott, Archie H'

I do not have any experience with dogs so  not sure on that. But when I use DMSO for myself, I usually rinse with hot water and then spray collodial silver afterwards. Ive also used DMSO after cleaning with organic shower gel, rinsing with hot water, and then using silver after that. You can also use DMSO in a spray bottle. Also note that collodial silver alone may help with the skin infection, and Ive used DMSO with it with good results on humans. I hear people do use colloidal silver for animals though.

Using activated MMS is something Ive also used to clean the skin prior to DMSO use. I can't see why it would be a problem.
