Cavities can be reversed with diet. Cut out processed foods, sugars, grains, beans, and nuts then add in home made bone broth and consume at least one cup per day. My wife experimented with this and everyone was shocked, including our dentist, that it worked...took over 6 months. She primarily used pasture raised chicken bones, around 99%, with the occasional beef bone tossed in. We learned about it from a Paleo diet website but to heal teeth the diet is more restricted than regular Paleo. She also oil pulls with high grade coconut oil, it's part of the teeth protocol. She did it over a decade ago so there is probably a more highly refined protocol online. One caveat, we didn't know anything about oxalates and we ate a very heavy oxalate Paleo style diet. She ended up with a trouble area in her back that she thought was a muscular injury, had a yoga and exercise routine from a chiropractor that only helped a little. By accident, 6 years after dealing with her back pain, we tried a low oxalate (still Paleo) style diet and within a week her back pain was gone. We both were not convinced about the whole oxalate thing but of course it relieving her back pain changed our position, we also spent a fair amount of time educating ourselves and now have a better understanding. We just met a friend of my wife's mother who had been suffering for almost two decades, not a single Dr. could help her, but she cut oxalates from her diet at the advice of a naturopath (she's keto bordering on carnivore) and has little crystals coming out of her right wrist. Her life has changed dramatically, she can now hold down a job and function normally. She was over the moon that we knew about oxalates because so many scoff at it, same with MMS. Low oxalate Paleo or Nourishing Traditions would be a good start, so would going Ketogenic...while following the teeth healing protocol. Good luck.
