Hi everyone!
My cousin had a hip replacement 2 years and subsequently restored her very active lifestyle, playing pickle ball daily.
She noticed a rash developing on her thigh and then a growing bump was noticed in deep thigh tissue near the inner thigh.
Her MD —after a long diagnostic effort— determined there was a hip infection draining into the thigh causing the rash and bump. He forewarned that if left untreated that it could lead to sepsis. The only option was to try high dose antibiotics as a first step. If it didn’t clear they said she would have to have the artificial hip removed, have the infection targeted with a temporary insert and then another hip installed.
A very long and difficult process.
While on antibiotics for 30 days she has started taking mms 4-5 drops, 4-5 times a day. She has also been doing the patch protocol with cds and dmso on her thigh and hip—alternating the two areas.
She feels amazing, the bump has disappeared and the rash has cleared! She in invigorated and feeling fantastic!
However, she took an independent blood test (separate from the MD) to assess her progress and the results are confusing.
CRP has increased from 4 to 34 in 30 days.
ESV has stayed the same at 103. Also high.
Question- Can a detox elevate CRP? She had hepatitis as a child.
Why would CRP increase so dramatically while using mms and dmso when the symptoms of infection have completely disappeared?
All other markers aside from CRP and ESV are normal.
We are concerned that things are heading in the wrong direction.
You insights would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thank you in advance!!
