So I have just fixed my long out of commission 5 Stage Reverse Osmosis Water Purification System as I want to use it with MMS1 for taking internally, sprays, footbaths, etc. as buying distilled water is getting too expensive. I have this system .

I then read here that reverse osmosis actually brings the pH level to 6.2 - 6.6pH. While Google says RO water can be anywhere from 5 - 7pH.
Then this site says that reverse osmosis water only becomes acidic, 5 - 5.5pH, when exposed to air. So would the solution be to drink the water right away or keep the lid tightly on the bottle - but then you would open it eight times a day for dosing so would it become acidic with that exposure?
Now through the use of MMS1 I have learnt that it's not good to use MMS1 for brushing your teeth because it is acidic and will eat away at your enamel.

Google says the following:
"Water obtained from RO filtration process has a low pH value. Prolonged consumption of low pH water has adverse health effects such as increasing the risk of kidney disorders and gastrointestinal troubles."
and
"RO water which doesn't contain enough minerals, when consumed, leaches minerals from the body. This means that the minerals being consumed in food and vitamins are being urinated away. Less minerals consumed plus more minerals being excreted causes serious negative side effects and big health problems."

So got a few questions.
1. Will drinking 5 - 6.2pH level water for 3 weeks or longer eat away at the enamel of your teeth?
2. Will drinking reverse osmosis water long term leach minerals from your body?
3. Anyone know what level pH MMS1 is?

Sorry for the long post, and I will be getting some test strips to test the water but thought I would just get some feedback.

I installed a RO system at my sink in 2016 to remove fluoride.   I've checked it with the PH testing drops right after I put it in a glass and it was at 6 but never tested it after a longer period of time.  IDK if R/O water leaches minerals or not I've seen articles saying both yes and no, but I was already taking some mineral and vitamin supplements anyway.  In addition, I've also started adding a few drops of "Trace Minerals" in the glass of water for drinking, but don't when I cook meals or make coffee with it.  I've have no issues myself drinking R/O water and taking minerals, but I can't speak to drinking R/O in and of itself.  I'd rather have  R/O without fluoride that is for sure and the bonus is a steady supply of water I can use with MMS.  I never tested the PH of MMS1 though.    I hope you get some feedback you need.  Sorry, I could not address some of your specific questions.  Have a good day.

Thanks. I actually posted this on another CD group and the response I got was that is I need to add a remineralizer to my system and that should take care of the problem of the water becoming too acidic.

I wasn't sure if I could as I have a 5 stage and that would make it a 6 stage. But the process is actually quite simple and you essentially just connect the new filter at the end of the whole filtration process, so where the water is going to the faucet that is where you connect the filter and it just adds minerals back into the water. I would recommend you do it. Pretty cheap to.

Hi @ stu77000 ,
From your post, you wrote "Now through the use of MMS1 I have learnt that it's not good to use MMS1 for brushing your teeth because it is acidic and will eat away at your enamel."
Can you please share more about how long you were using MMS1 Brushing Teeth Procedure, and if you could feel something change or visually see the enamel being worn away?
I'm just starting the HRP and the ebook says to start the teeth brushing, too... but I am a bit nervous about doing so.
Thank you

I haven't actually brushed my teeth with MMS1. I do however belong to two other Telegram chlorine dioxide groups and it has been through them and other sources that I have learnt about the acidic nature of MMS1. Some still say it is ok to brush your teeth with MMS1, but I don't want to risk it. Once the enamel is gone, it's gone for good.

You could add some baking soda to the MMS1 and then test the pH. If you want to do this then get test strips and test the acidity yourself to be sure. I have been meaning to do this but have just never got round to it.

Andreas Kalcker says CDS is neutral and so you can brush your teeth with that but I would test it first too.
