Personally, I would rather think about having the amalgam removed. Because every time you drink a warm (or hot) drink, the amalgam evaporates and through the mucous membranes you absorb this toxic gas into the body. But that is just my personal opinion. Because such strong toxins in the body can (or rather will) affect your health in the long run.

The subject is very controversial. But if you think about it clearly, you will come to the following conclusion; if a thermometer with mercury breaks, you should let the room air out for many days to avoid poisoning. If you put something like that in your mouth, you must think; huh? A toxic material in my mouth?

And here is an extract from a dental practice:

"Amalgam was used for a long time as the sole material for fillings. This material consists, among other things, of the heavy metal mercury. Unlike modern plastic fillings, amalgam does not adhere to the tooth, but must be wedged into the tooth through deeper holes. After some time, the material oxidizes in the mouth and takes on a black color; this is not an aesthetically pleasing solution. In addition, it is now scientifically confirmed that mercury stresses the body; once it is stored in the brain and kidneys, it is no longer excreted."

I cannot speak from experience here but it seems that the amalgam can oxidize and become black. The same would happen with MMS/CDS since this is an oxidant. But that is as I said only my opinion.

And as I said, such poisons should be removed from the body (from my point of view) or they should not be inserted in the first place. Because the removal of the poison must also be done in very special rooms because otherwise the dentists poison themselves severely when drilling it away. The whole topic is really not a pleasant one, especially because such fillings are still used today.

Even if it was not a direct help I still hope that it could provide some information.

Many thanks for your reply. I have had Amalgams for many years , as they were accepted as safe years ago !.. Too expensive now to have them removed as well as bringing possible problems at my age. My fillings are black anyway as long as my unfilled teeth are not affected, thats ok. Thank you again for your time and reply,
