I'm also looking for answers about Curagel. I bought some to try to clear up some sores that I think have staph in them. I actually just had one on my leg. I've used MMS1 spray on it before and it helps but I can't apply often enough, I think. Also, I think I'm a pretty smart person EXCEPT when I get on this forum and try to read about CDS and CDH. My brain stops working. Back to Curagel. I applied it a few times a day at first and there was slow improvement but still improvement. I ran out of small bandaids and only had a larger one that seals all the way around. I thought this may work better anyway so I started yesterday applying and covering every 2 hours. I thought the large bandaid was irritating my skin on the edges - although that's never happened before. So I decided to use a square non-stick gauze over it and wrap with an ace bandage since I'm at home. The irritation just grew and then the Curagel started to REALLY burn when I would apply. I finally quit after 3 applications today. I now have an area the size of the gauze of burning, oozing, red, inflamed, hot skin. I've never had a reaction to MMS1 on my skin and I've sprayed it everywhere. I'm guessing it might be one of the other ingredients? I used this at least a week with small open bandaids and did not have a problem. Can I use too much? I contacted the vendor that I bought it from and they hadn't heard of this happening to anyone else and referred me here. I'm happy to attach pictures - but it looks pretty gross now. Any thoughts would be appreciated!
