Hello! Had a quick look and couldn't find anything here - I started a protocol with CDS (from CleanPlus) at the standard 3000 PPM, following CLO's infosheet . I started with the equivalent of a 1 drop dose of MMS (I have completed Protocol 1 last year with standard MMS1).

After the first day of hourly doses, I started to feel itchiness in my throat as well as congestion in my sinuses. I continued the protocol thinking it was simply a detox / cleansing reaction - felt no other symptoms. Decided to stop after day 3 as the discomfort continued and seemed to increase. Today I do feel a bit of relief.

The only difference I can think of is that I am taking the CDS in a larger glass of water, versus when I took MMS1 I would take it with less water (therefore less time for it to irritate my throat region when I would drink it).

Is it possible the CDS is negatively affecting that area? Any suggestions as to how to continue / adjust so I can finish the protocol would be much appreciated! I am taking at work so makes it much easier to use CDS than MMS1 as I do not need to mix it / worry about the smell.

Thank you : )

A one drop dose (I think) is to start, to make sure you don't have some reaction to it. A one drop dose is worthless, IMO.

masidonion, I wonder if your CDS has added MMS. Some sellers market such CDS calling it 'stabilized' or something like that. Let me know if that is the case.

Hello CLO : ) I am taking the following CDS: www.cleanplusonline.com/product/cds/

The CDS works well for me at work as I don’t need to do mixing so would love to continue! To report for today, throat is all better (3rd day without CDS) and just a bit of remaining pressure in my head.

So either thinking the CDS immediately started cleansing my throat / head region, thus the detox symptoms. Or it did indeed bother my throat?

Appreciate any advice.

masidonion, I sent an email to that company asking if their CDS has any added MMS.

When taking high dosages of CDS, it is common to have some throat irritation. I think you are dosing about 2 ml of 3000 ppm CDS hourly into about 120 ml (4 fl oz) of water and that should not bother your throat. You could include the mouth-holding-method (MHM) which would help reduce any throat problems.

Some may think that 1 drop MMS1 doses are not effective, but a few people have eliminated stage four cancers taking only 1/2 drop MMS1 doses. Everyone is different, so dosing should be adjusted for each person.

Understood CLO - thanks for the help here. You have the dosage correct, although I was using closer to 8-10oz of water. Would that have made a difference on its impact to my throat?

After a search of the forum, Google and wiki, I was not able to find much on the mouth-holding-method except a quick mention in the wiki's glossary. Is this simply holding the dosage in my mouth for 1-2 minutes? Is it swallowed or spit out?

I initially loved CDS for its convenience, but now finding it possibly inhibitory towards taking higher dosages due to the amount of drops necessary.

The MHM is described here. Depending on the situation, you could either swallow the dose or spit it out at the end of the MHM time period.

If you used 8-10 fl oz of added water with each CDS dose, that would result in less throat irritation than if you had used 4 fl oz. I have not heard back from the supplier of your CDS if there is any added MMS in the CDS he sells.

You might consider using CDH instead of CDS and see if that works for you.

Thank you again! CDH is interesting as I could create it at home and bring to work. Quick question: is there a strong smell when I uncap the bottle to dose 1 to 3ml in the glass of water?

Yes, a bottle of CDH would emit CLO2 odors when uncapped. Then you have to take out a dose and add it to a glass of water, causing more CLO2 gas to perfume the air.

What I suggest is to get some small plastic or glass bottles, one for each hourly diluted dose, and drink directly from them. If they are small mouth bottles, not much CLO2 gas would escape when opened. This article might have some ideas for you to ponder on this subject. The glass bottle pictured has a 5 fl oz capacity.
