DMSO is a carrier and should carry MMS further into tissue, bone, etc. DMSO is introduced in Protocol 1000 Plus.
If when taking MMS1 you have negative side effects, you mostly likely are overdosing. You should begin taking MMS1 by following the
Starting Procedure.
From that protocol you then move up to P1000.
If you are using 50% citric acid MMS activator, that could cause stomach problems. The recommended activator is 4% HCL.
Overdosing could result in Herxheimer effects caused by killing off pathogens too quickly. Another possible reason for negative side effects when taking MMS1 is
explained here.
