Assuming that one does the Starting Protocol, what causes someone taking MMS to feel bad during the course of a treatment. I've heard CLO2 (and others) say that if you're feeling better, keep doing what you're doing. If you're feeling worse, cut the dose in half.....

....but what causes someone to feel worse? Is it the body reacting to the MMS or is it a Herxheimer reaction? I've been doing MMS for about a month. I wasn't noticing much of difference, so I decided to increase the dose. I was doing 20-24 drops/day over 8 hours. I was bumping it up one drop/day. Before I hit 30 drops/day, I started feeling really bad. Is my body reacting to the higher amounts of MMS or higher levels of endotoxins in my blood?

My guess is that you may be experiencing Herxheimer reactions. If so, reduce the dosage for a while. Then, try going up again.

And, it is possible that MMS found a biofilm and opened it up releasing some pathogens.

I too hit the wall if I take too much per dose. One would think that at some point one's body would be clean and stop detoxing, but apparently not. Just my personal theory here, I think that the immune system can only handle so much "help" in a day. After that it is over-whelmed with too much help, and it tries to throw off the excess "help". This is not a bad thing as too much of anything good can be bad. It's like over-eating. One can eat too much of the best food in the world in one sitting and get a painful stomach. In all his writings Jim Humble has stated to back down the dose amount when you start feeling bad. Just as you know when you are comfortably full you stop eating, and if you do not you know you will have that too-full sensation that is less than comfortable. And so it is with MMS. You learn to listen to your body, just like when you eat. Your body will always tell you when to stop. The good news is just like over-eating. You don't do yourself any harm, you will just be uncomfortable for a few hours. For me the first sign of too much is when I go to drink a dose and my body just shivers and revolts in a very strong way. I can force it down, but next dose will be cut by one-half. I have experimented with taking too much and have had painful headaches, vomited, and worst of all, a very powerful bout of diarrhea. Jim humble warns of this, but I had to try it anyway. He was right. This was how I learned what the right dose was for me.

I will know within the next two weeks how well the MMS is working. I'll have a PET/CT scan, and a brain MRI. I think it is working, and that is based on how pain comes and goes for me. I take a 2 to 4 drop dose, it varies through out my day. I take as much as I can, I increase by a drop or two, then cut back depending. There is no way I can handle 10 drop doses all day. That of course is the maxium depending on body weight, but I can't come anywhere near that much.

Sporty333, there are reports of some people recovering from stage 4 cancers taking only 1/2 drop to 1 drop of MMS per hour. It is common to overdose with MMS. Give it some time to do its job. And, follow the Three Golden Rules of MMS.

Great, thanks for that advice! Appreciated.

I feel I've stabilised now on 3 drops divided throughout the day. You know, the baby bottle method. I'm not feeling the despaire I was feeling on those higher drops. I plan to give it say 3-4 days on each one drop increase.

So, how long should one give it on mms/CD before expecting to see any improvement? It's just that I'm off my usual programme while I'm doing this CD programme.....

If you are following Protocol 1000 and you don't see any improvement in about two weeks, move on to Protocol 1000+ where you add in DMSO. You can also add other protocols while doing P1000 or P1000+ such as foot baths, tub baths, the bag protocol, etc. If treating a topical problem, there are spray & patch protocols. Basically follow the HRP plus add in other protocols that might help your particular ailment.
