When you say "4 ounce bottle" I presume you mean a 4 fluid ounce capacity bottle. Ounces is a measurement of weight and fluid ounces is a measurement of volume.
It is not possible to accurately make MMS using volume measurements for NaCLO2 (
Sodium
Chlorite) due to the different size particles of SC. If using SC powder you will get much more weight in a given container than if SC flakes are used.
If you have Jim Humble's 2011 book
The Master Mineral of the Third Millennium he has a detailed chapter on how to make MMS from SC powder, flake or liquid SC. Also,
here
is a short PDF file by Steve on how to make MMS.
You can make 50% citric acid using volume measurements. Fill a container with citric acid crystals and compact it well. Use the same container filled with distilled water and add to the citric acid crystals. That will be close enough to make 50% citric acid solution.
