chemical formula for sodium chloride is NaClO2.
What is the chemical formula of the citric acid 50%?
And how we get out of this ClO2 (chlorine dioxide)?
Where acid disappears?

Searching the Internet I find the chemical formula for citric acid to be C6H8O7
Using citric acid to produce CLO2 from NaCLO2 (sodium chlorite):
15 NaClO2 + 4 C6H8O7 = 12 ClO2 + 4 C6H5Na3O7 + 3 NaCl + 6 H2O
g2cforum.org/index.php/list/general-discussion/2019-mms-balanced-chemical-reaction-with-citric-acid

Hydrochloric acid (hydrogen chloride) formula is HCl
Using HCl to produce CLO2 from NaCLO2 (sodium chlorite):
5 NaClO2 + 4 HCl → 5 NaCl + 4 ClO2 + 2 H2O
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chlorine_dioxide

I am not a chemist so can't say where the acid goes except it probably gets used up in the chemical process.

Marti, I don't have an answer to your oxygen question.

I did want to point out that the above chemical reactions, if correct, show that using HCL results in a cleaner MMS1 solution. Note that C6H5Na3O7 is not generated when using HCl, but is when using citric acid.

Also note the first reaction, which uses citric acid, very little citric acid is used compared to NaCLO2 (MMS). One fourth as much is used, or 25% citric acid. So, the 1:1 ratio of MMS to citric acid may be too high. Others have noted this in the past.
