Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has any experience or suggestions for knocking down a yeast sensitivity?

I sort of had one of those AH HA moments last night in the middle of the night. I realized that I always start having a burning sensation when I urinate IF I have just consumed something (usually a liquid) with yeast in it.

Months ago, I had some apple cider vinegar for an acid reflux problem, and it burned on the way out. Years before that, I had some wine and it burned on the way out ( and swelled the prostate) (This was years ago) (Beer is a little better, but still swells the prostate again this was last year!) We are only talking One beer, and I had to give up wine years ago.

Then while on the P 1000 protocol just this week, I bought some name brand Selenium, which is supposed to be something that most people are low on as a supplement. (I didn't think to read the fine print on the label!)

This particular brand of Selenium was made with " Organically Bound Selenium Yeast". Sounds good right? I knew I had a yeast problem, but Selenium yeast too? I couldn't find the brand that was recomended on here. (Yarrow)at the time so it's entirely my fault, but there you go. By that time I had broken the seal and there was no taking it back.

So I took two capsules to see if I could handle the stuff. Wrong! In about 1 hour, it started the burning sensation the first time I went to urinate. Not too bad on the first day, but by the second day there was no doubt that something was wrong.

The MMS was not a factor since I had already finished the starting procedure and was on day 7 of the 3 drop dose by now.
There was no burning from the MMS on the full 3 drop dose.

I took 2 more of these yeasty Selenium caps before I had it eliminated down to just the Selenium yeast, but by the second day (while still on P 1000) it was really starting to get painful.

Thankfully, it was the same sort of pain I got from drinking wine (from years back) so it makes sense to me.
It might be something with the bladder too because it feels like a burning sensation BEHIND the pelvic bone and at the same time in the tip of the penis.

So I stopped all the Selenium and drank extra distilled water that day. By that afternoon, the burning was gone again, and the prostate was still happy.

So for this yeast issue, has anyone had more or less luck with MMS / CDS/ MMS2 or anything else?

In the past the G2C recommended this for yeast infections (Candida):

Yeast infection (Candida): Protocol 1000, douche protocol for females, spray bottle protocol

I would suggest to carry on with P1000 and see if this problem goes away. Guess the way to prove if P1000 fixes your problem is to take one of the selenium capsules.

If still a problem, then move on to P1000+. If that fails, then follow P2000.

Keep us informed of you progress.

The Candida issue seems to hinge on two things. Yeast intake and sugar intake. The sugar is in the form of fructose from the apple juice in my mixture. I don't eat any regular sugar or soft drinks. I'm all right if I just stay off anything with yeast in it. (even with the apple juice)

It would be better to try and get off all forms of sugar, but then the body wants to revolt on just distilled water and MMS.

So I need to find another kind of juice that isn't sweet, but will still taste good with the MMS. Has anyone tried V8 ?

Just to answer my own question now- just went to the grocery store and all the V8 and 99% of all the juices have Vitamin C or extra vitamin C added. Or sugars of some type. The only one that I could find was unsweetened Cranberry juice concentrate that does not seem to have anything added. Maybe Carrot juice would work too?

If you have some CLO2 test strips, you can test various juices to see which one might be okay.

I have been using SweetLeaf brand liquid stevia drops to flavor my MMS doses. Using about 2 drops per dose. This brand of stevia does not reduce CLO2. They make it in many flavors. :)

I have heard that apple juice has been used with MMS, but have not tested it for loss of CLO2. Even if some CLO2 is lost, you could increase the dose a bit to compensate.
