blood pressure medication question while on mms was created by jaime108
My dad is interested in trying MMS for his blood pressure which even meds don't seem to help with. He has had all kinds of tests done and pretty much nobody knows why his blood pressure and heart rate are high or why regular meds don't help very much.
My question is that if he has to take his medication 3 times a day how would he do that while on the mms? (I was going to have him try protocol 1000 unless anyone thinks something different may be better, this is his first time using MMS) Even if he takes one dose 2 hours before he starts his 8 hours of the MMS won't the MMS basically cancel out any in his system during that 8 hours he's taking it? (He has to keep on his meds like clockwork or else his bp immediately goes up higher when it's time for his next pill) I know people use the MMS for blood pressure but I haven't seen anyone explain how they incorporate it between meds. Thank you for any advice.

Now I am even more confused... I was doing more research while waiting for this to be answered and saw that medications should not be effected by the MMS but yet the other day I thought I read something saying the opposite? For instance how can it nullify birth control while on the MMS but yet it wouldn't do anything to the blood pressure meds? Are there just certain medications that it cancels out? How about supplements?

Hello,
Most medications do not interact with MMS, the notable exception being antioxydants (vitamin C and such). However, as a rule of precaution, it is usually advised to take medications 30mn before/after a dose of MMS, just to be on the safe side.
Blood pressure medications are quite widespread, and no one reported any adverse effect by taking them with any protocol. Sometimes after a while, people stopped taking them because their BP was too low, but that's the "worst" that seemed to happen.

If the prescription drugs he is taking are not effective in lowering his blood pressure, why is he continuing to take them?
The cause of high blood pressure is no mystery. It is caused entirely by what is eaten, or not eaten as the case may be. Foods made from sugar and grain are toxic to all humans, and high blood pressure is just a symptom of this poisoning which develops in many people as they age. (Other symptoms are cancer, heart disease, liver failure, kidney failure, arthritis, and most all skin diseases.)
Blood pressure can be normalized fairly quickly by eliminating sugar and grain from the diet. People with high blood pressure are deficient in the minerals magnesium, potassium and Vitamin C. I suggest eating a big salad twice each day, composed of primarily green, leafy vegetables such as kale, spinach, romaine lettuce, turnip greens. Make an oil and vinegar salad dressing from apple cider vinegar and hemp seed oil or unadulterated olive oil. If unwilling to make these dietary changes, then I suggest taking each day in divided doses 3 grams of Vitamin C, 8oo mg of magnesium glycinate, and 4,000 mg of potassium gluconate or potassium bi-carbonate. Since Vitamin C neutralizes MMS, it must be taken at least 1 hour after the last MMS dosage for the day.
Here is a good link, which provides many "second opinions" on high blood pressure written by medical doctors:
