Hi LoLmart. Unfortunately, he is not the only one who does not understand why 1ml of 3000ppm CDS or CDH is not equal to a 3 drop dose of MMS1 when ingested. Take a look at this
PDF file
for a partial textual explanation and a visual presentation.
MMS1 is only about 15-20% activated externally so when the ppm is measured externally it is low and the ppm will increase much more when it is further activated in a stomach with normal acid.
Tomas, a G2C Forum member and a chemist by profession, says that 1 drop of MMS (22.4% sodium chlorite water solution) should produce 6.7mg of CLO2 (chlorine dioxide). Since a 3 drop dose of MMS1 is barely activated externally, but measures the same PPM as 1 ml of CDS or CDH externally, they would appear to be the same. Until the MMS1 hits a stomach with a normal amount of acid, then the PPM goes way up. Since CDS is fully activated, it will not increase when in a stomach. CDS does not contain any residual MMS (22.4% sodium chlorite water solution).
Since you have 6000ppm CDS the dosage would be 8ml to be equal to an 8 drop dose of ingested MMS1. If used externally, or in an enema or douche, etc. then he would be correct. What was forgotten is that CDS is fully activated and there won't be any further activation when it is in your stomach. A fully activated 3 drop dose of MMS1 (in a normal stomach environment) should contain a total of 20mg of CLO2. 1ml of CDS contains 3mg of CLO2 which is about 1/6 of what a 3 drop dose of MMS1 can produce. So you need about 6 times the amount of 3000ppm CDS to equal a 3 drop dose of MMS1.
Yes, you should take your CDS dose with as much water as you need. The water will not reduce the amount of CLO2, just dilute it. Still, you are going to have throat irritation. Using the Mouth Holding Method (
MHM
) (see page 5) will help, but maybe not enough.
If you used CDH (McRae-Lackney recipe) it would help reduce throat burning as it is about 50% externally activated.
CDS is great for many applications but in general, I would not use it for ingestion because it initially contains too much CLO2 and will burn your throat. MMS1 or CDH would be a better choice with CDH maybe the best choice as it contains less unreacted MMS (22.4% sodium chlorite water solution) which will bother some people. And, it is a good idea to use 4% HCL acid activator as that acid is the same one found in our stomachs. Citric acid is not an acid found in our stomachs and can also bother some people. Also, HCL tastes much better than citric acid.
Jim Humble now agrees with this explanation of why 1ml of CDS or CDH is not equal to a 3 drop dose of MMS1 when ingested.
