Long as the food does not have vitamin C added feeding with food should be fine.

According to Wiki Answers: There is 28 grams in an ounce. so that means that their is 1 ounce and 4 grams left over!
The formula to convert 32 grams into ounces
32 g * 1 oz
28.34952313 g = 1.128766782 oz
So being kitty is 10 lbs. I would think 1 ounce would do? Do you have a kitchen scale? Like the kind used for dieting? That might work.
Here is another conversion: chefdecuisine.com/convertisseur/chef/converter.htm
They claim 32 g is 1.13 oz.
But all this still doesn't tell us how many granules will weigh up that amount. Anybody have a diet kitchen scale you can borrow?

You are meaning 32 mg (milligrams)? I do get confused on the math and correctness is life and death here. I will check out that link. Thanks!

OOPS! So sorry! Here is a good converter: www.metric-conversions.org/weight-conversion.htm
It states: 32mg = 0.0011288oz

Might be easier to start as the protocol suggests. 1 granule at a time.

One granule at a time wouldn't work as this disease kills quite fast. Usually a matter of days once symptoms become obvious. And how would you know when you had enough granules as the cat can't really talk? I think starting him out with the 32 mg right away is the best way to go. Just guessing but I have been giving him 20 or more granules with each hourly feeding with no side effects yet. Been trying the quarter dose now too but he drools it out even when mixed with food.

Just an update on Chick, my cat. He is still holding on. He should have died by now based on my many experiences with FIP in cats. Still not wanting to eat on his own so I must not be dosing correctly which is frustrating. Still, I will take any gains I can get. Since I give him his dose with food that may be slowing things down. Cats otherwise drool or spit bitter tasting things out and trying to pill a cat is close to impossible. Because of his "runs" I cut the dose in half at times however he had the "runs" chronically long before his FIP kicked in. With each feeding I mix Natures Way Reuteri Primadopholis which has been scientifically studied to work in dogs and especially cats to stop diarrhea. It does work. I have used it in other animals who have chronic diarrhea (for years) and if given the proper amount it will reverse shortly. Just something to keep in mind if others are struggling with this in their pets. Purchase the 5 oz jar of powder. Not the capsules. Mix with food as it is relatively tasteless. Since it works with Chick I think it or other Probiotics will work on humans while using MMS and will help tolerate it at stronger doses. Just another item to keep in your bag of tricks i.e. Felix the Cat.
