Experienced CDS users on cat ailments:
Please could you assist. I'm in need of urgent dosage info.

My 11 year old male cat Sirius has some kidney issue, I think. I cannot afford MRI's or XRays and various other tests the vet wants. Generally, I don't go near vets anyway.
A woman who cured 20 out of 23 of her puppies from distemper has told me I should use the same dose of CDS as she did for her pups.
That being 1/2 teaspoon of CDS, diluted in water and giving 8 daily doses. She said I should do this for 3 weeks.

I've had Sirius on just 2 daily doses (1 drop diluted in water) since Friday and I now realise his erratic healing must be as a result of massive underdosing.
Last Thursday evening a worker at an animal shelter told me if it was a kidney-related infection (there was blood in his pee and until Thursday he was doing incontinent pees indoors for around 10 days), I should offer tinned asparagus brine. As cats know what they need for their healing, she said if there was a kidney infection he would drink it. I put a couple of tablespoons in a bowl. He sniffed, had a lick, another sniff and then proceeded to lap it all up. I poured at least another half a cup or so into the bowl and in a minute he had drunk the lot.

I need to treat this as a potentially severe kidney problem and ASAP, without knowing what it is. Please give me an accurate dosage for a 5 kg cat. The woman with the distemper pups told me the above dose could also produce nausea. If so, I should just cut back on dose a bit.. But I'm STILL not comfortable with 1/2 teaspoon of the stuff per dose!
Also, I'm familiar with and have used MMS on the kitties and me, but this is a first with CDS. Unfamiliar territory...and I don't really know what the differences are. A friend's friend offered it to me.

Please advise anyone

Many thanks in advance :-)

Hi HF

I am 'this person' that used MMS -on the link you gave.
But on my cat with pyometra last year, as stated there and as mentioned there I've used MMS plenty before. But my question here was about CDS as I'm totally new to it.
Or were you indicating CDS is to be used in just the same way dosage-wise as MMS? Still waiting the 3 mins for activation? I was also told to keep this CDS in the fridge - correct? Never did that with MMS.

I know these are basics Q's and have probably been asked and answered a zillion times before. But could someone...? Or just provide another link to where the basics are answered. That would be super.

Many thanks

HI!
1 ml of CDS=3 drops of MMS. In some cases CDS works well and in other cases no. In some cases MMS works well and in other cases no.
If you are activating with 50% citric acid then you only need to wait about 30 seconds. Otherwise, with the other citric acid it is a 3 min wait.
Yes, CDS needs to be tightly capped and in the fridge. It will last a long time in there.
Hope this helps!
