Does anyone here believe that root canals can be the cause of many health problems?
The reason I am interested is that 6 years ago I had a root canal and today I had that very same tooth extracted.
The tooth split in half yesterday and the staff at the dental hospital thought it's long term chances of survival were very low. They said I only had about 20% of the original tooth left after that one tooth had been filled 3 times and had a root canal probably all done over a period of over 30 years.
Also what are people's thought on dental implants. I'm told I have to wait 3 months for it to heal and then if I want I can consider an implant. The tooth I lost is my molar and the main tooth I've always used for chewing my food.
Also what food, nutrients, etc do people recommend for better and faster healing? And is there anything I can do, or eat that will help my bones in the jaw to grow back as strong as possible?
