Coming late to this thread - We're all guessing here as to the "why" - but I do think GJ is correct - this is some sort of toxin elimination or detox. As long as your husband is not herxing (vomiting, diarrhea), continue to build the MMS slowly up to what he can tolerate.

Right now you're at 18 drops over the course of the day (32 oz bottle, divided into 4 oz an hour) - continue to slowly increase the drops to 24 (which will be protocol 1000), and then beyond to tolerance (increased drops are protocol 2000, with the addition of the MMS2) - Jim's book says when you get to 3 drops an hour (or 24 drops in the daily bottle), you should move onto protocol 2000 -

Hi. I just want to be clear. The mucus is a thick and a bit red in color. Not sure if it is irritation so a little blood is coming up or if he is coughing up blood.

Is coughing up blood common, or is it more common to have some dark reddish mucus that is the detox.

Why not try the bath method also? It is a way to absorb MMS and bypass the GI tract.

Search for bath method or Chloe Rub N Tub protocol on this forum. Seems he needs as much MMS as possible and needs it to be taken in as gently as possible.

Best wishes for a speedy and healthy result,
Chloe

If he is alert and able to speak to you his feeling, don't give up, continue feeding MMS and try to start MMS2 as soon as possible. If you don't have gel caps empty, buy Cinnamon pills they came in gelcaps, dump the cinnamon in a cup and filled the short part with the Calcium Hypochloride and close with the large part. That way you can start right away. Start with one pill a day, and start increase as he tolerate it.

Thanks. I thought I was not suppose to start MMS 2 until we are up to 24drops. We are only at 18 and he has been complaining about a lot of pain. I am not sure if the pain is being caused by the MMS or by the tumor growing. What is your suggestion. I have purchased MMS caps and DMSO. But have not used either. I was waiting to get up to 24 drops.

He is alert and talking. However, under a great deal of codine due to the pain.

MMS does not cause pain. Nausea or Diarrhea is what can cause. The state of the cancer is very advance for that reason he is on codeine and a lot of pain that normal for that stage. You can start MMS2. If you purchase the caps, those came completely full, open and dump the half of the pill. Only one half pill today to see how he react. Then tomorrow add two, half again with two to three hours apart. Then next day another one, stop if he get nausea or diarrhea. do not try to give him more is not going to make him get cure faster. If he unable to tolerate MMS more than 18 well some people are unable to tolerate 3. So each person is different.

The MMS2 method change to half caps, so make all half. If you purchase the gelcaps you can divide then in another empty one.
