Thank you so much, Rev Ray!
I've been reading your posts before and they are always so helpful, and full of good info and science.
THE ANTI-OXIDANTS
Thank you so much for pointing out that the anti-oxidants are messing with the MMS action! I've been keeping them 2 hours apart from MMS, but have been scratching my head about this (oxidant vs. anti-oxidants). I have two days ago moved the anti-oxidants to the morning, with the logic that once I finish MMS doses at night, my body can continue using the oxidation action when it repairs throughout the night while I'm asleep. Instead of putting a harsh stop to it with tons of anti-oxidants before bed.
Just this morning when I woke up, my vocal cords were bubbling away happily (that's right, bubbling, and making a noise as well, like the mouth of a little fish
crazy but true), so it seems they had been healing throughout the night, and then the bubbling stopped a few minutes after waking up. This never happened when I took MMS and then 2 hours after anti-oxidants before going to sleep.
So it seems to me sleep is very very important to the healing oxidation action of MMS, and that taking anti-oxidants at night (like I've been reading many people on this forum are doing during MMS protocol) will only fight with and prevent the oxidation healing action. It seems counter-intuitive, and I'm so glad to hear your experienced advice on this. My intuition seems to be getting better
.
And what do we take anti-oxidants for, anyway? To prevent or fight disease, mainly. Which MMS is already doing, more than adequately. So we should give it some room to do its thing.
I'm thinking of making sure I take just enough vitamins and minerals my body needs daily, to prevent deficiency, from food or fish oil as much as possible, instead of going nuts with supplement Vitamin C etc. anti-oxidants.
And I will do it in the morning, several hours before MMS dosage of the day. As I'm quite conscious that even things like carrots and tomatoes are full of anti-oxidants (carotenoids, lycopene.. even if not vitamin C specifically), and I'm thinking I'll eat these types of things in the morning, hours before MMS, and then keep the diet of the rest of the day more along the lines of: potatoes, fish, yogurt, chicken, rice etc. with no veg, basically, to possibly mess up the MMS action.
Does that sound like what you had in mind with your advice on the anti-oxidants?
(sorry to ramble)
Many thanks,
Liina
