When I wrote up my alternative protocol for ridding myself of intestinal parasites I mentioned an unrelated medical scare that prompted me to use Protocol 1000. The medical scare was that my ex-girlfriend of several months ago is either HIV-positive or is showing signs of and was diagnosed with AIDS. English is poor here so not sure which. My test showed HIV-negative so I'm 99.9% that I'm okay, but even so will use the 1000 as closely as possible during travel mode.
I read something by Jim Humble that the HIV test is only for the antibodies which can continue in the blood for years.
I did some research and learned there are two new tests for the virus itself. So, if it's cured or simply doesn't exist the tests will prove it.
One is called the Antigen RNA test, the other is the PCR test. This is where I found the information, the San Francisco AIDS Foundation.
