Latest thoughts on Lyme and MMS1/MMS2/DMSO/CDS protocols ? was created by MartyW
Hi,
I have the Jim Humble yellow book 4th Edition and the 2011 blue book, and I recently tested positive for Lyme. Both the books I have, I believe, weren't positive on how to absolutely cure Lyme with the then-existing MMS protocols.
During the past year I did many maintenance doses of MMS with occasional larger doses, but no sustained protocols until recently. But a couple months ago I tested positive for Lyme. I then did a 3 week raw whole food diet and followed that by 4 weeks of MMS Protocol 1000+. I say "1000+" because I added two of the (small) MMS2 capsules per day but I never got to the max recommendation of five MMS2 capsules per day. I do have some DMSO but I haven't used that yet.
My Lyme shows up as pericarditis, inflammation of the heart lining. It rages and then (with high levels of prednisone) the pericarditis gradually comes under control and then gradually subsides, and then I taper the prednisone. I've done this about ten times in the past 4.5 years. Since I'm now on a prednisone taper but still taking quite a bit of prednisone each day, I have no way of knowing if my MMS Protocol 1000+ has hit the Lyme hard or not. I did have a few days of fatigue so I may have had some die-offs, but not positive.
After doing my MMS protocol 1000+ for 4 weeks, I've gone down to maintenance doses (6 drops) of MMS per day and I'm now receiving three hydrogen peroxide IV drips per week for two weeks (no MMS on days I get peroxide IV). My earlier thinking (from the first two books) was that the peroxide could possibly get to some deep seated microbes that MMS might not be able to get to.
Any up-to-date thoughts of effectiveness of any MMS protocols for Lyme is greatly appreciated. Also, any comparisons of updated MMS protocols to peroxide IV therepy for Lyme is greately appreciated.
Many thanks to all,
Marty

Have a look at Kerri Rivera's site and her protocols which include MMS (CD). They are apparently getting good results with chronic diseases using the same protocol used for autistic children. Lots of them had Lyme and got rid of it.

One thing to keep in mind is that it may take longer than 3 weeks to eradicate all the lyme. Kerri's protocol is a year long - BTW - but highly valued - there is so much freaking misdiagnosis these days that it's not funny! But yes, there are several people who have eradicted lyme on that protocol. The facebook group CDHealth, although it's specifically for the protocol, is available for adults who do not have children with autism.

Thanks cller, I did look at Kerrl's info, both on YouTube and on a blog site. I didn't find anything on Lyme by searching the forum on her site but I'll keep looking.

Thanks Pam, any recommendateions on how long Protocol 1000 or 2000 can be used?
Since Jim Humble recommended 3-4 weeks in his 2011 book, is there a later recommendation for how long the protocols can be used (or how they should be used) when going after Lyme since the lyme microbes morph and hibernate?

Jim actually says "until healed" - but most things can be healed in 3-4 weeks. However, there are some that are really stubborn and take longer - as an example, he says it may take diabetes (and there is only a 50% success rate, he says) 6 months or longer. Kerri's PP is 1 year.

I think that the reason that Lyme is hard to cure with MMS is because the MMS does not penetrate the lyme cyst. Its the same reason that antibiotics often dont cure. Once the lyme disease has reached the cyst stage you need to take a different approach. I have written about this on my website with all the details that you need to know:

Many thanks Arrow!
This info is what I was hoping to find, some updated info on the battle to cure Lyme. I've read the article and I've downloaded the pdf and will read that too.
Since my current combination of therepies is hydrogen peroxide therepy and mms therepy (not on same days), hopefully those will stop) or lessen the intensity of) the outbreaks until we can do one of the combo therepies mentioned in your article.
Many thanks again!
