Thanks, Amanda Mary. And I'd like to explain something to you. When I see the illustration you have posted for your profile here, for the longest time, before I took a closer look, I thought it was a woman with lots of arms. Funny!

Referring to that link and the note from openjic:
I am wondering if the 12000ppm CDS was shipped to OPENJIC or if they bought it locally? If you're reading this, OPENJIC, please let us know?? I imagine the off-gasing potential would be great. And the more off-basing, the weaker the CDS would be!)
I'm concerned about shipping CDS since legal shipping of CDS requires special handling and permission anyway and 12000ppm would be extremely difficult to get through the regulations (I would think!)
Back before I learned how to make CDS myself (I use the overnight method now) I purchased what I believed to be 3000 CDS from a supplier. I do not know if this supplier "stabilizes" CDS or not. I need to find out. However, when my order of three 4oz bottles of CDS arrived, I did not test it as I should have done to make sure it was indeed 3000, I put the bottles into the freezer thinking this would increase the shelf life. I did test one of the bottles after a month and it was clearly below 3000. I must add that I find assessing the PPM by looking at those test strips subjective, meaning, it is difficult to get an exact reading. But when I measured that bottle of CDS it was clearly below 3000ppm. Andreas told us in Mexico at the training that he determines the strength of CDS by looking at the color. But then Andreas has lots of experience as well as lab equipment to learn this.
I also wonder about the INTENSE off-gasing that occurrs when generating 12000ppm CDS. I'm thinking this would be a safety challenge. Is anyone out there making 12000ppm CDS? What's the recipe and how much MMS do you add if you want to stabilize it?

we do make, sell and ditribute 12000 CDS we do always stabalize all of our CDS, we ship worldwide and have never had a problem with customs, having said that our lables are vaposized mineral salt water.
here is the link for making 9000ppm you can simply do the math to increase to 12000 forum.mms.bg/index.php?/topic/9-how-to-make-9000ppm-cds

My understanding is that CDS can't legally be shipped in the US. I know of only one US based company that will ship CDS.
Personally, the only reason I make and use high concentration CDS is for topical use.
Since you are making overnight CDS (OCDS), to make higher concentration (ClO2 ppm) CDS just add fresh solutions to the reactor container and put that back in the receiver container holding the CDS you just made and process for another 12 hours. Keep doing that until you get what you want. As you are probably aware, at higher concentrations CDS can become unstable. Be sure to keep it cold and especially out of strong light.
Yes, the solution color can give you an indication of the ClO2 concentration, but not always.
This photo shows two OMMS (overnight MMSA) solutions that measure about the same ppm; 6400 ppm the left jar and 6500 for the right jar. I would have guessed the left jar was higher ppm, but it is really the same as the right jar. Different methods were used to make these OMMS solutions.
And yes, measuring ppm with LaMotte ClO2 test strips is a rough measurement tool, but better than nothing or a visual guess! I use both, but mostly use an eXact Photometer to measure small differences in concentration that could not be seen with LaMotte ClO2 test strips.
Regarding the so-called "stabilized" CDS, I have not seen any proof offered that adding MMSU to CDS will help retain ClO2 concentration. And I have also read that the purpose of adding MMSU to CDS is not to "stabilize" it at all, but instead it is supposed to increase the effectiveness of CDS. At least, that is someone's theory.
This link describes how well CDS can retain its ClO2 concentration after 6 months of storage at room temperature, not in a fridge.

By the way, Scott (truthquester) will soon be publishing a report on OMMS in case anyone is wondering why we do that.

Anyway thanks for sending the photo. It clearly shows a difference in color intensity.
I like the idea of generating batch after batch into the same receiver CDS to raise the ppm. What would you treat with 12,000pm (do I have that right?)
I laughed when I read that you discovered a forgotten bottle of CDS in a bedroom closet!

p.s. I just heard this joke that gave me a good laugh: What do you get when you cross an agnostic, a dyslexic, and an insomniac? A person that stays up all night wondering if there really is a dog.

Actually, those two jars contain MMSA instead of CDS, although they are made over a 12 hour period like CDS is made.
The jar on the right started out as CDS for 1 hour, then the shot glass reactor containing MMSU and 50% CA was spilled into the distilled water and continued to react for another 12 hours.
The jar on the left also contains MMSA (will be called OMMS, I think) but there was no CDS mode. All ingredients were combined at one time; MMSU, 50% CA and distilled water. The cap was immediately put on and the reaction time was 12 hours.
Both methods react at room temperature, then into the fridge until cool. Only then is the cap removed to extract some solution for measurement or use.
These methods of making MMSA are like making CDS in that a closed container is used, the reaction occurs at room temperature and the reaction time is long - 12 hours. The containers are only opened when the solutions are about 40 degrees F (4 degrees C) so the ClO2 should not outgas much.
In terms of CLO2 conversion efficiency, the jar on the left was 90 mg ClO2/ml of MMSU used. The jar on the right was 107 mg/ml. Compared to the CDS as made per the web page instructions Amanda Mary referenced, that example only generated 30mg/ml of MMSU used.
I use high ppm CDS on skin lesions. An effective way to administer the CDS is to open the lesion enough to Q-tip some strong CDS inside/underneath the lesion. Haven't tried CDI, yet!
