My friend Deborah has a really neat report about 1 tsp. of DMSO stopping post-operative pain in its tracks for 7 hrs.! She proved you can put DMSO into capsules also; I would've thought it wouldn't work. Her husband was experiencing very bad pain after hand surgery and couldn't sleep. The DMSO really came through.

My husband finally had his hand surgery a few weeks ago. They removed
some very intricate pieces of metal.

His pain after was through the roof. So I took 7 size O capsules ( = 1
tsp.) of DMSO and carefully filled 7 , and placed the tops on. Gave them
to him. His pain subsided for 7 full hours. I did the same thing again
with 14 capsules filled with DMSO ( = 2 tsp ). He slept through the
night with no pain . Think it was 11 hours before the next dose.

This started as he tried drinking the DMSO and hated the taste. I made
the capsules in about 5 min. as I thought they were going to melt. They
did not.

Late yesterday I was moving a bed out of a room with electronic
interference/computer router, etc. I caught my little toe on the door jam while
moving fast and pushing a huge bed. I thought I might have broken my toe. The
whole area was bruised the size of at least a baseball. I couldn't walk last
night. I applied DMSO a few times and I am fine. Getting into an empty room

My wife yesterday applied the DMSO to her legs at about 430am and by 10am she needed some more so she went to the nurses bathroom and was applying the DMSO and a RN saw her doing this and asked what she was doing my wife, Louise explained about the pain relief and the RN asked to use some on her back. The RN got relief and told an LPN and the LPN used it on her legs, next a CNA on her Corporal Tunnel. Caused a Chain reaction now they want to know where to buy it. Louise said the local farm and home 9.99 for 99.7% 16 oz bottle.
