I am taking DCA now, along with Vitamin B1-- started last Wednesday – I know they have good results with brain and breast cancer –using it with no ill effects thus far...this protocol is also not FDA approved for it cannot be patent--but many people are taking it.
What is DCA--DICHLOROACETATE The method employs dichloroacetate, which is currently used to treat metabolic disorders. So, there is no concern of side effects or about their long term effects. This drug doesn't require a patent, so anyone can employ it widely and cheaply compared to the costly cancer drugs produced by major pharmaceutical companies. Canadian scientists tested this dichloroacetate (DCA) on human's cells; it killed lung, breast and brain cancer cells and left the healthy cells alone In human bodies there is a natural cancer fighting human cell, the mitochondria, but they need to be triggered to be effective. Scientists used to think that these mitochondria cells were damaged and thus ineffective against cancer. So they used to focus on glycolysis, which is less effective in curing cancer and more wasteful. The drug manufacturers focused on this glycolysis method to fight cancer. This DCA on the other hand doesn't rely on glycolysis instead on mitochondria; it triggers the mitochondria which in turn fights the cancer cells.
The side effect of this is it also reactivates a process called apoptosis. You see, mitochondria contain an all-too-important self-destruct button that can't be pressed in cancer cells. Without it, tumors grow larger as cells refuse to be extinguished. Fully functioning mitochondria, thanks to DCA, can once again die. With glycolysis turned off, the body produces less lactic acid, so the bad tissue around cancer cells doesn't break down and seed new tumors
A clinic in Canada has been working with DCA --http://www.medicorcancer.com/dca-reports.html (they are ligit)

observation from medicor cancer clinic
Based on our observational data we believe that:
•DCA can be an effective component of a cancer treatment program.
•DCA is a viable option for patients who have exhausted conventional therapies.
•DCA is effective against many different types of cancers.
•DCA is relatively safe but has specific side effects and should be used under medical supervision only.
•Response to DCA is variable like any other medical cancer treatment
•DCA is more effective in healthier patients than those with advanced stage disease
•DCA can interact favourably or negatively with chemotherapy is some patients. This is hard to predict unless a chemosensitivity test like ChemoFit is performed.
•Duration of DCA treatment depends on individual patient. Limiting factors maybe loss of effectiveness or side effects.
•DCA maybe more effective and tolerable in children, but like adults, children may experience hallucinations or emotional changes due to DCA that resolve when the drug is stopped

PLEASE DO THE RESEARCH BEFORE TAKING
QUESTIONS I NEED ANSWERED
1. Has anyone taken DCA?
2. I got sick on MMS2 everytime I added it to the protocol--I'm assuming that all MMS2 are not made alike---can that be true???? or something in it creates an allergy reaction internally??--although I love bathing in it--it definitely helps the skin where the cancer is trying to escape (keeping it at bay)
3. With some information--can I take MMS1 along with DCA--or would this be too much of a risK?--I will be on DCA for the 2 month protocol.
Could use your help on this one!!
Thanks Anne
