Hi,

I have three cats. I am giving all three cats MMS. I am going to use this thread to record what I am doing and when and what improvements are being made on all three cats. In the hopes that it will help others.

Cat 1- a 15 yr old cat, she had a stroke after Christmas, and has been having mini seizures. Plus she caught something from the other cat.

Cat 2- A 3 year old stray who was skin and bones, and adopted. His poo was pudding green and bloodly, and a sample was taken to the vet who said that there was nothing wrong with the sample. Gave him diatomaceous earth in his food every day, didn't know about MMS then, his poo turned tan and cleared up in 3 months. His poo has been getting worse from tan to yellow liquid, he pees his poo out. Yes gross. And what ever this is, gave it to Cat 3.

Cat 3- A 1.5 year old cat, who was inspected by the vet - a rescued cat - and the vet said nothing wrong. But I suspect eye herpes. I am strictly guessing. But gave it to Cat 1 and Cat 2. This cat's poop is normal color but pudding poop, no form and pools of pudding poop.

Bought MMS.

Mixed 1 drop of activated MMS in a 2 oz of water.

Bought three 3ml syringes from a place called TSC for .99 cents.

So far

Started July 26th, 2014

All dosages are in ml (mil-liters) and are given by syringe into the mouth.

Dosages, 2 per day - approx 12 hours apart, 8 am and 8 pm.

Cat 1 - 0.5 ml to help her stop producing pus in the eyes.
July 26th to July 31st - no improvement for the pus in the eyes.
Noticed --- so far --- no more mini seizures.
Increasing it to 1.0 ml twice a day.

Cat 2 - 2.0 ml twice a day
His poop went from tan diarrhea to normal poop color in 2 days. Its still pudding poop.

Cat 3 - 1.0 ml twice a day
His eyes had been producing daily a black discharge from his eyes. Three days in, one of his eyes stop producing the black discharge. His poop is still pudding poop, normal color.

Will continue to post updates.

I forgot to add:

Cat 3 - that when he came here, he brought with him a respiratory infection, so all cats were sneezing, running noses and wheezing.

For the two younger cats apple cider vinegar (organic with the mother in it) put onto the back of the next for just over a week, cleared it up. Go figure, but it worked.

Cat 1 is still wheezing. I'm mentioning it so when it clears, again it might help others to show how long and what doses of MMS was given.

Cleaning the l syringes:

This is what they look like: www.easycomposites.co.uk/products/10ml-disposable-syringe.aspx

I boil some water in a small pot, when its a rolling boil, I take the pot off of the burner then put syringes in it and filling them and emptying them.

Giving a cat a syringe by mouth:

First off don't go by some of the videos you see on youtube. Cats do not just sit there ever so nicely taking their medicine.

This is what I found works for me:

1. Have a towel on the couch
2. Have treats ready on or near the couch
3. Have your MMS syringe ready on or near the couch - all in easy reaching distance
4. Find the cat
5. Take the cat to the couch, sit with the cat, pet the cat. The cat will try to back up as far as possible. So sit back into the couch.
6. Tell the cat she/he has to take their medicine,
7. Place one arm around the cat,
8. Even cover your hand (the arm that is around the cat) with the towel, if the cat likes to put out his claws to push your hand down.
9.The other hand found and now is holding the MMS syringe.
10. . Pet the cat under the chin, slowly raising his chin with the one hand.
11. Give the cat a few seconds to smell the MMS syringe, put it under his nose.
12. Gently raise his head up and toward you.
13. Gently wiggle the MMS syringe into the side (not front) of his mouth.
14. Do not give any more then a squirt of .5ml. Cats don't have the swallow reflex humans do and we don't want to choke or make the cat gag. Give the cat a minute to swallow.
NOTE - if the cat has learned like mine has, that if it opens its mouth all the way the MMS will go out the other side of the mouth, gently angle the MMS syringe partially to the back of the mouth and do not give more then a .25 ml squirt.
15. Remember you are using your non-MMS to hold the cat in place and keep its head up.
When done
16. Thank the kitty like you would a child for being a good kitty, and give the kitty some treats. If the kitty is staying around for a few minutes, pet them and continue to thank them in a soft voice, let them know its not a punishment, you are helping and loving them. The may not know the words, but they would pick up the loving tone.

Update on

Cat 1 - The kitty is still having pus discharge from the eyes, but it has diminished probably close to half of what it was.

Cat 2 - Kitty poops are no longer being pee'd out, they are more liquid pudding before it sets.

Cat 3 - The kitty had previously had one eye with no black discharge after some MMS. Some of the black discharge is back, but it is so small, maybe only 5 % of what it was before. I just wanted to mention this.

Also, his poop is now going from liquid pudding (before it sets) to pudding after it sets.

Today is Aug 20th, I haven't posted for 15 days. Lots of things going on with life, and I wanted to give the kitties a 'break' (5 days) with the mms for two reasons.

1. Kitty 3 was becoming more aggressive in not wanting it, so I assumed it was his way of telling me that he was feeling ill. More on that later.
2. I wanted to see where the others were at, to see if they no longer needed it, or still continued to need it.

Kitty 1: doing extremely well, the she was still producing pus from her eyes, but it was starting to turn into clear runny discharge.

I was told by a vet that green and yellow pus is no good.
Clear running discharge is good.

The break from the MMS, was not a good idea for her, her eyes are producing pus again. No where near as much as she had been when I started, but its still there. So I assume that she was on the verge of overcoming what ever was producing the pus with the help of the MMS.

We started again today.

Kitty 2: His eyes also got worse, his poop remained the same, chocolate pudding poop - not set, and the stink really bad.

We started again today.

Kitty 3: He has made the most improvement, his poops are mostly now normal, shape, color, the stink is still really really bad. This morning I noticed that some of the pus in his eyes has come come, its very little, but it has come back, it was gone before I stopped the MMS.

I think the MMS was upsetting his stomach which is why he was getting to aggress to me giving it to him. By aggressive I mean, constant turning of his head, letting it go into his mouth and then dropping his head to let it out of his mouth , and an increase in clawing at my hand. After the third time of this, I stopped. I figured 1 ok, you dont' know, 2nd time, a co-incidence? 3rd time most definitely .

We started again today. At a much lower dosage. More on that next post.

The the other thing I noticed is that is eyes are almost back to normal. I will make another post on this, as I am running out of time this morning.
