Hi everyone,
I was wondering if MMS would work on birds? I have a cockatiel which has been plucking its feathers for over 10+ years. I've tried everything and brought him to different vets and animal psychics but nothing helped. He weighs about 100 grams, and has no feathers (except on his head and a portion of his wings). He drinks about 1/2 teaspoon (about 2.5 grams) of water everyday, so I'm thinking of adding MMS to his water bowl (which holds about 100 grams). He's in a big cage with 2 other very healthy companions. I think MMS will also help maintain the health of the other two birds.
Jim's book said that we should give a 25-pound animal 1 drop of MMS, but in this case, if I were to provide a bowl of 100 ml of water and if he drinks 2.5 grams of that water each day, how should I mix the right amount of MMS in the water so that he gets his portion of MMS after drinkg the 2.5 grams of water? I'm getting confused over all the math, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Peggy
