I have LaMotte Low Range Chlorine Dioxide Test Strips the range is: 0-10 Now, how do I measure the ppm ? The LaMotte Low Range Test Strips I purchased because I read that here on the Forum somewhere! Now I see others using the High Range Test Strips?

pam Offline Platinum Boarder Posts: 4593 Thank you received: 3703	for the 50% citric acid, just use an equal measure of citric acid (tamped down) and distilled water - that makes a 50% solution, or close enough to make no never mind (as we say in Texas ) -

I picked-up some nice large pickle jars from the supermarket and used those. Worked wonderfully.

MMS (Master Mineral Solution) is Sodium Chlorite 28% (22.4% Sodium Chlorite, 5.6% Inert Salts and the remainder water) plus an acidic activator (usually 50% Citric Acid or 4% Hydrochloric Acid) when combined produces Chlorine Dioxide.
