Hello, just wondering if anyone can help. I have heard that swilling the mouth with mms helps receding gums. I unfortunately have fillings, does anyone know if it is safe to do with metal fillings? Thanks.

mms is acidic . it will make you lose your tooth enamel . so not a good idea.

but some of the experts on here, have suggested mixing a bit of baking soda to reduce the acidity so this doesn't happen.
you can ask some more of the guys on here.

I personally will never recommend swishing with something like mms which is acidic in the mouth . I have mms everyday , and it helps with my breath and body odour anyway.

I personally think hydrogen peroxide swishing is best for the oral hygiene. but note that its not a good idea to swish with hydrogen peroxide if you are a smoker. there is a link to oral cancer when it mixes with the nicotine in the. mouth.

I suggest using mms internally, but there are lots of guys here way way way more experienced than I am and have had success with swishing mms.

I just wont risk my enamel lost, non shiny teeth with discolouration is simply unacceptable to me.

Thanks will have a try. I have also heard that sodium bentonite clay helps and doesn't agitate fillings.

Tests have been done and you just need to add a pinch of baking soda to the MMS1 and it brings the pH to 7 which is neutral and your teeth will be just fine.

Testing the pH yourself would be best if you have strips and then also test the ppm of the chlorine dioxide if you have those strips. It usually halves the amount of CD, which is still enough to do the job.

I found mms to be too acidic for gum health, but I didn't try mixing with sodium bicarbonate so that may have been why. But my gums started to heal after brushing with ozonated olive oil and then oil pulling with it for 20 minutes.

I've been using MMS as a mouthwash off/on for 3 years.
With plenty of fillings, no problem
The DMSO seemed to cause some pain in an infected molar, but it cleared while using the MMS1 protocol.
Eventually I had to extract the molar, but it was not painful.
I gave up on strips + ingest 1 tsp baking soda to 1/4 cup distilled water every morning regardless of taking anything else or if I'm on a protocol. It is important if using DMSO on the teeth, as other replies state.

You might try CDS instead of MMS for oral care.
