My thanks to sky for stepping in and giving us her expertise.

I do need to make one thing clear, though. The need to be alkaline is NOT Jim Humble's position. It is Sky's. Jim's recommends a good healthy diet with meat - such as you can find in this thread. g2cforum.com/index.php/list/genesis-ii-church-jim-humble-newsletters/23200-jhn-vegetarianism-and-veganism-our-salvation-or-our-hell-09-10-2012

Also, Jim's dietary recommendations are used with excellent success at the Genesis II European Health and Restoration center in Bulgaria, as you can see in this thread.

Mind you, almost all of Europe is GMO free, so there may be some things you can get there that you can't get here in the states. In the US, the only way to guarantee you will get unadultrated foods is to purchase organic or grow them yourself. Otherwise, almost all processed foods have GMOs in them.

Diet is one of those things people have strong beliefs in - and we have members who are very much in favor of an alkaline diet - or keeping the body alkaline. Since adding MMS to alkaline water is not good for MMS, and both MMS and CDS are more acid than alkaline.... you may want to tread lightly here.

No worries about diet. I am a naturopath, I have very defined parameters for healthful eating. I believe in instinctive eating, which means as long as the food is unprocessed (raw and "as found" in the wild, including any animal body fluids or products) then if you have an urge to eat it, you should eat it as your body is wiser than your mind. If the food is altered in any way or mixed with other things then that animal instinct we have cannot be relied on to meet our nutrition needs.

As I was also university trained in science, I understand the chemistry of ClO2 and that it will not work in alkalinity. The stomach acid itself was enough in certain circumstances, with some books and health practitioners recommending sodium chlorite (unaware the activity was due to the ClO2 gas produced when sodium chlorite hit the stomach acid).

I know you can't legally recommend or prescribe, therefore I will not take the answer to this question as such, however "if you were me" would you take a 2 drop dose for 8 hours a day for one week prior to a procedure? The procedure requires a one week daily dose of synthetic antibiotics. Has this method of preventative and post-op use been done before?

I like your take on diet Perspicuity. I do practice one law in my eating though.

The body can be affected by the "taste" of food, and modern manufacturing processes have been very smart at "creating" food types with additives (the dreaded glutamate E series') that can give the body new experiences which if practices long enough will train the brain to issue neuro peptides to and "demand" that chippy or cookie! Consuming easily available processed foods is therefore the risk most folks in the developed world have been exposed to with devastating results in health.

To many additives - to much Acid = Dis-ease

So I eliminate all processed foods in favour of fresh (except my dark chocolate!)

As far as the anti bio's are concerned - you are scientifically experienced. The net has enough detail to the risks involved. If I was to go through the same experience - I would do an MMS saturation before taking antibiotics. But that is my own opinion and as I said - maybe some of the staff here can add their experienced opinions also.

True about additives.

I'll ask one more time, as I have a specific question: 2 drops per hour for 8 hours?

I ask because there doesn't seem to be a protocol for such a situation. I haven't as much experience or knowledge of the different ways to use CLO2 so was hoping someone would know the EXACT protocol best used to mimic antibiotics.

OK, I will share my thoughts with you, and you can make a decision. Antibiotics today are targeted to specific pathogens, and the dosing is based on age or weight. MMS is non-specific, it attacks the first pathogen it sees with an oxidization potential of less than .95v - which is grand, but, personally, if I wanted to get as much as possible of the baddies out of the way, I'd personally not do 2 drops an hour, but work up to 3 drops an hour, or even possibly more - because we want to be sure YOUR baddies are caught.

8 hours a day? The moms on the autism parasite protocol will occasionally do every 2 hours for 72 hours, night and day. We're not limited to 8 hours a day.

Pam's advice is good imo and you then have the added benefit that your system is not weakened by the hectic effects of the Antibiotics as well as lots of acidic residue and a decimation of your gut flora (which is where most healing starts from.)

A plus situation which will support your post op recovery.

When it comes to affect against pathogen vs gut flora, I know Jim has addressed that in the past, and insists ClO2 does not harm gut flora. My understanding of bacteria does not support this assertion. This issue is linked into my previous question about antibiotics, because using antibios kills off mostly good bacteria (especially if only used as prophylactic and not in disease).

Where Jim's assertion comes undone is that he says good bacteria operate in a different way to bad bacteria which allows MMS to ignore the good guys. This is not true. It depends where they are as to whether they are good or bad guys... if they are in the right place, they are good guys. If they are in the wrong place, they are bad guys. For instance, acidophilus bacteria are good guys when they're in the gut, as we all know - but they are also the bacteria responsible for rotting teeth - which MMS battles very effectively as we all know. So we know MMS kills acidophilus, if it didn't, it wouldn't work in the mouth as a mouth disinfectant.

So again, I wonder how mms can claim not to kill good guys when it clearly does... and if it does, the benefit I am looking for (not harming my gut flora like antibiotics will) does not exist.

I'd really love it if a knowledgeable person can help me understand this, as it is my only concern with MMS and I'd really prefer not to use antibiotics.

I guess the only way you can really ascertain this is to determine what the oxidization level of gut flora is. Is it less than .95v?

I do know that we have many children with autism who are being treated for leaky gut and so on, with over 60 recoveries so far, and they use MMS in both drops and enemas for their gut issues.

We can only give you our personal experiences. If you want something more than that, you probably will need to contact a lab. I am not at all sure that your statement "it clearly does" is valid.
