I have used this as a deodorant for some time but I always make sure it is dry before I dress. I think it would bleach clothes otherwise.

Thank you. I was planning on using it to heal the rash I sometimes get. Can do that before I go to bed.

I use the crystal salts for deodorant, which I really like.

Hello - sorry to be late. Haha

I always let it dry first before putting my shirt on (I even keep a small fan in the bathroom to help speed up the drying process :) ).

One time I didn't and I didn't notice any bleaching but I did notice I pretty bad smell and I think it was mainly from the citric acid.

I have continued to use it since my 1st posts and have never had a problem with a rash or anything adverse.

By the way, I think the mms with citric acid or maybe even mms alone (mixed with water of course) is better as an underarm deodorant than the new cds. The reason why I say this is because I think part of the reason it works so well is because it actually, after it dries, leaves some crystals behind, on the skin, and it's these crystals that give the long term deodorant effect. With the cds, there isn't any residue left behind. This is just my opinion, based on trying the new cds that I just made under my arms. At the end of one day, I was a little stinky :ohmy: . But sometimes that happens when you're experimenting for the sake of mankind. Haha :cheer: .

- I did a CDH injection / Chlorine Dioxide (CLO2) injection / IV push of 10ml of dilute 50ppm CDH / CLO2 into my blood 3 times in 11 hours & did before & after blood tests that showed that it did NO HARM to my blood, liver or kidneys. Thank you! I have accidentally gotten a small amount of unactivated mms on clothing and it took the color right out of the cloth. That's why I ask.
I will try it on the underarm rash to see if it helps. If not, as Bishop Humble says, it may be caused by a fungus. The docs said it is probably caused by not keeping the arm pit dry. Kind of hard to do in Florida humidity, even adding baby powder on top of the crystal stone deodorant that I use. :) In that case, I will probably have to get some Betonite clay and make an ointment. Or maybe try Baby Diaper Rash ointment first. That would be less messy.

After several days of testing, also my wife too, I can say that the Sodium Chlorite (unactivated) on distilled water DOESN'T WORK! very well :(
No to mention the underarm rash I got, and my wife too! This was with a solution of 10 drops per ounce in distilled water.
Now, just to be clear, we are in the tropic (Puerto Rico). So temperature here is around 82F during the day this time of the year, so probably in other cooler places, that works better.
I have now reduced the amount of Sodium Chlorite drops to 1 per 4OZ bottle (just to keep the water purified) and added one full teaspoon of Baking Soda.
And that did the trick, no more itching (and no more slight questionable smell in the afternoon :oops: )
Baking Soda alone has been used for a very long time for this purpose, but I wanted a liquid mixture on a spray bottle, and that did it.

So are you using 1 drop of activated or unactivated Sodium Chlorite with the baking soda? This cleared up the rash as well?

Unactivated is highly alkaline - which is probably why it "burned" you. Activated is where the best pathogen killing action is - I use my skin spray daily as a deodorant and have had no problem, and no odor.

I have noticed that most deodorants give me a rash but using the mms activated never does and works great

I wouldn't use unactivated MMS on skin for one reason - it's alkaline. Our skin's pH should be ranged from 4.5 to 6.0 for the best protection against pathogens. We can achieve such pH by activating MMS, even the solution with baking soda is about 5.2 pH.
Insanity is doing the same old thing that failed and expecting a different result.
